Never cross your landlord without good reason!
Recently, a few dirty tenants entered a world of hurt after leaving their apartment a pigsty.
Their dirty deeds started a yearlong journey…
To add insult to injury, they skipped out on payments!
This is the story of a landlord losing profits and the ensuing crackdown.
The biggest shock of all?
The tenants skipped out on 14 months of payments. Yes, you read that correctly!
They left the apartment in absolute shambles.
When French landlord Thomas Ravaux arrived on the scene after a series of missed payments, he couldn’t believe his eyes. Neither could we!
It’s as if a tornado ran through the apartment, literally.
Landlording isn’t a glamorous profession.
Heck, the entire concept of owning property and renting it out isn’t respected by many when so many properties around the world sit idle for months and even years.
Landlords are bound to run into difficult tenants just by the nature of the job.
But this is taking the concept of “bad tenant” to an entirely different level!
Welcome to a landlord’s worst nightmare!
The entire place was trashed. Ravaux might as well have gone to the local dump!
Each room featured some combination of damaged furniture, empty boxes, and animal feces.
After seeing the disaster, Ravaux shared photos of the wreckage on Facebook.
Naturally, the story went viral.
Everyone’s in obvious agreement: these are some terrible tenants!
Ravaux expressed his disdain on Facebook, translated from French to English:
“This is how I collect a home after 14 months of unpaid. Thanks to the tenants of the apartment. Living with 3 kids like this what. Not to mention the food lost in the fridge offered by heart restaurants!”
His frustrations continued.
“Shame on you! Courage to your new owner who rents you a house in Brunehamel.”
These past tenants will soon learn their lesson.
Thomas obviously needed to clean the apartment…
But instead of throwing out the trash, Thomas took things into his own hands.
One step at a time, he hatched a master plan…
So what did he do?
Well, he ordered a dump truck.
Yes, a dump truck.
After a lengthy search, he opted to stick it to arguably his worst tenants ever.
It took a while to clean the entire place, but slowly but surely things started to look better.
What goes around comes around!
Thomas sent the dump truck and garbage directly to his old tenants’ new doorstep! And he recorded the whole endeavor on video for all to see, leaving not a single shred behind.
Should we consider this a happy ending?
It definitely is for Ravaux! And the internet!
Life can be quite simple when you aren’t acting like a terrible person. Just treat people with respect. It’s that simple!
