Two sets of identical twin siblings fall in love after a chance meeting.
In June of 2020, 25-year-old identical twin sisters, Vanessa and Kerissa D’Arpino met identical twin brothers, 29-year-old Lucas and Jacob Sealby in Medford, Oregon, and immediately felt a strong connection. The connection was so strong, in fact, that they all moved in together just three months after meeting.

All the stars seemed to align for the couples.
Neither set of twins were living in Medford prior to the pandemic. However, the sisters moved home to be closer to family and the brothers accepted new jobs in the area. It just so happened that both sets of twins were sprinters in college. The brothers were sprinters at Washington State and the sisters sprinted at the University of Oregon. After college, all four pursued a career in the sports field. The brothers are in sports medicine and the sisters are both personal trainers.

One of Venessa’s clients arranged for the twins to meet up.
The twins met for the first time to go bowling but found themselves in shock over how strong they felt toward each other. It didn’t take long for a bond to form between them. Kerissa and Jacob, the older twins hit it off and Venessa and Lucas also felt a strong connection.

“Our plan was to go bowling. So we were going to meet here and then drive together to go bowling…And then as soon as we started talking, we stayed here for about 4-5 hours just getting to know each other and then coincidence after coincidence. After that, it was like two days later we were boyfriend and girlfriend and we’re not letting go of this.” – Venessa told kval.com

The couples love going out together and say that 75% of their dates are double dates.
Even after a year of dating, the couples thoroughly enjoy each other’s company. “Me and Jacob get along so well and so do the girls, so it didn’t really slow things down with us at all. If anything, it brought us closer together…Of course, we always get our alone time in. We go on dates by ourselves. We’re not always a quad. We need a little bit of time away from each other.” – Lucas told kval.com

The twins insist there won’t be a ‘double wedding.’
Although they have all talked about marriage and fully embrace the idea, they aren’t too keen on the idea of a joint wedding celebration. Kerissa said that people ask her whether they would consider it but she says it’s “not something we really want at this time.“ – Kerissa told kval.com. The brothers seem to agree. “There’s definitely not going to be a joint wedding, joint proposals…That’s when it is getting a little bit weird, so we’ll stay away from that.” – Lucas told kval.com

The twins never expected to fall in love with another set of twins but know they were meant to be.
‘It was really exciting when we all got together on our very first date…They say when you know, you know. We had feelings straight away and fell in love very quickly. The more we all talked, the more we connected and it just felt meant to be.’ – Kerissa told Kval.com
The twins know that people are curious and sometimes can’t help but approach them when all four are out together. They tell people that they are in fact twins and admit that people can’t help but stare.

People ask them if they mistake one twin for the other.
Venessa assures people that there is no way they would have trouble knowing who is who. “Of course, we know what we all look like, so we don’t get each other confused,’ she told kval.com. Venessa reports that the twins are all best friends and they get along very well and now that they live together, “we are even closer than ever…we love each other’s company and are always having fun.” – kval.com

The years ahead for this ‘quad’ will no doubt be filled with double the fun.
