When you hear the word ‘prank’ you usually think of an elaborate joke made at another person’s expense— but Prank It FWD, an organization created by DEFY Media, is doing its best to change that stereotype.

“Prank it FWD is a ‘pranks for good’ program that provides life-changing surprises to deserving people,” their website explains. Basically, the organization finds deserving people and “pranks” them with amazing surprises and gifts that will help them achieve their dreams.

Cara Simmons is a hard-working housekeeper and a single mother of three.

Her family contacted Prank it FWD in hopes that they could give her a relaxing day off. Cara had been struggling with health issues and had been hospitalized for exhaustion a couple of times. What she really needed was the opportunity to relax.

“Cara’s an amazing person, an amazing sister. She’s selfless, she works hard,” Glo Nicholson, Cara’s sister, told the camera.

“If anyone needed something, she’d be there,” her daughter added.

When Prank it FWD heard Cara’s story, they knew they could give her a nice, relaxing day— but they also had a bigger surprise in store.

The Prank it FWD staff secretly “hired” Cara to come clean (what she thought) was a VIP client’s home. Instead, what she would get was a day full of “coincidental” luxury that ended with the surprise of her life.

When Cara arrives at the house, the “client” tells her that she’s already cleaned but could use her help to plan a large party.

Her first grueling task? Taste-testing a six-course gourmet meal with luxury ingredients, including $500 Tristan South African lobster, white truffles, Kobe beef, and edible gold.

At this point, Cara can’t seem to believe that this is really happening, but her day only gets better from there.

Next, massage therapists arrive with a massage chair and ask her if she’d be willing to get a massage, so they could “warm up” their hands.

After the massage, Cara is led upstairs. When she gets to the second floor, she’s greeted with a pile of designer clothing. The client tells her she’s going to be getting rid of them and encourages the housekeeper to keep any item she’d like.

After a relaxing day at “work”, Cara’s client asks her if she can help unpack a few moving boxes— but when Cara opens them, she’s confused to see her items inside.

From this point forward, the video gets really good— but if you want to know the amazing way they top off this day off luxury, you’re going to have to see it for yourself!
