Nothing gets by Harry - although his dad had to learn that the hard way.

A 2-year-old “genius”? That might be stretching it, but we’re still marveling over a little boy’s visit to The Ellen Show.

However, there are amazing children who have the ability to process information and memorize facts in a way that even adults cannot.

Harry is one of those kids.

When Ellen DeGeneres found out about Harry and his skills, she invited him to be on her daytime talk show.

Arriving with his parents Shellie and Steve, the tot showed off just how much information he can keep in his head, identifying every single flag in the world for starters. Harry has amazing recall when he’s prompted with a visual cue – like a map of Vatican City.

Ok, fair enough, Harry, we wouldn’t have gotten that one right.

Shellie and Steve seemed to know from the start that their son was something special.

“Yeah, so when he was first born we noticed that his eyes looked really big, and we joked that he looked shocked. So from then I’d say about 12-months he started to be able to identify the alphabet, he could spell his name, he could read his name. 18-months he could identify shapes,” Shellie told Ellen as a photo of baby Harry pops up.

He goes on to identify not only flags (reading the word Australia off the back of the card before Ellen can even hold it up!) but he knows countries by their shapes as well.

Can you identify Cyprus by this photo? We sure can’t.

But Harry seems to know it the moment his eyes focus on the picture.

Even if you rolled your eyes at the thought of a 2-year-old genius, you have to admit that’s pretty cool.

And Harry seems like a pretty happy kid. Granted, he might get prompting to learn from his parents, but it’s just as likely that his young brain is just wired better than most to memorize trivia and he genuinely enjoys it.

Harry’s interests extended to logos at this point as well – he can identify them all. And we mean ALL.

In fact, Harry’s ability to recognize things and his eagerness to learn means he knows the logos for some things that are…let’s just say a bit beyond his years.

And it had Ellen cracking up.

His dad recalled a specific “educational” moment:

“He loves logos, absolutely loves them. So I bought him a logo book of all the corporations globally. And we were going through, I think we were on the page 300, and we got to the Playboy logo.”

Uh oh.

He continued:

“So I looked at it, Ellen, and I thought to myself reluctantly. He said, ‘Daddy, what’s this?’ And I went, shall I just skip the page? But you can’t do that with Harry. So I said, ‘It’s the Playboy logo’… And he goes around telling everyone he loves Playboy.”

Well, what else do you expect from a precocious toddler?! You win some, you lose some.

The tike can barely contain himself when he hears the word “Playboy.”

As Harry identifies the Netflix, Pixar, Porche logos, and a few others, his final test is Disneyland’s logo, which he nails. And Ellen showed him that logo for a very special reason.
