A grandma in Florida doesn’t have to worry about living alone. Her grandson, Matthew Stewart, is going to let her live with him.
Grandma Bobbe is 87, and Matthew affectionately calls her GB. Most of the elderly are left to live alone which is a sad reality, so grandma Bobbe is truly fortunate to have Matthew.

On Matthew’s Instagram page, he and his grandma are parked in front of a construction site looking at the the unfinished home that’s their soon-to-be residence.
Matthew happily revealed the surprise to GB.
He goes on to tell her all about her private sitting room, accessible bathroom, and bedroom.

Grandma wiped her tears as she told Matthew she’s happy “somebody wants me,” to which he replied jokingly, “Of course we want you! I guess…”
“It meant the world to be able to show her our new home! I cannot wait to actually move into it and have her with us!”
Matthew told Good News Movement. “I know we are all VERY excited. She was there for me in the past for the toughest time of my life and now I get to take care of her in the final years of her life. I’m very blessed!”
GB said she’s already “packed and ready to go.”

Here’s another grandmother and grandson duo with a very special relationship. Meet Brad Ryan and Joy Ryan.

Joy is 90 and has never seen an ocean, a desert, or a mountain before turning 85. Her grandson on the other hand has traveled and explored so many places at 25.
Joy wasn’t able to do the same in her youth as she was too busy making a living. She was just 40 when her two sons died, all while working a minimum wage job until her senior years.

Joy’s been a widow since 65 and she lives in a small house.
So naturally, she didn’t have the means to travel anymore. Then Brad decided to take his grandma to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
That was the start of their mission to visit all 62 national parks in the country. This grandma and grandson duo have seen 53 parks so far. And with their travels also came a stronger bond.

Brad also found himself reflecting and reviewing his life after spending so much time with his grandma Joy.
“At her age, she’s very cognizant that at every moment, she’s probably seeing something for the first and last time, and that has dramatically changed the way I live my life as well,” he said.
Brad created Instagram account named “Grandma Joy’s Road Trip.” All of their travels and moments are on the account so go ahead and follow the grandma and grandson team.
Give your grandma a hug and a kiss too!
