The sun’s out, it’s not too hot, and the water looks mighty tempting.
It’s great summer day when you score all 3, and a trip across the water is always a treat.
While a boat is usually the obvious pick, there are other things that are just as buoyant with a little more comfort to offer. Like inflatable rafts.
Inflatable rafts with cooler-holders are great for chilling in the water. Just don’t get stuck in them like these folks.
Yes, though it may be hard to believe, some people can get stuck in a raft.
This grandma and her sister found themselves struggling to climb back out of their buoyant prison.
This raft has already come back to shore, but grandma doesn’t look like she’ll be on land anytime soon.
An aunt, presumably her sister, is also having the same trouble.
Because the scene was so hilarious, their granddaughters couldn’t help but film it and laugh along.
Yeah, because are you really family if you don’t laugh at each other’s predicaments?
Thanks to the girls filming, we know that the two older women’s names are Joyce and June.
And we can assume the other two women helping, or at least trying to help, are the moms or workers.
In fairness, I think it’s harder than it looks. Then again, not everyone’s gotten stuck in an inflatable raft.
The ordeal proved way too funny that Aunt June began to pee herself from laughter. I mean, who can blame her?
Joyce has been rolled over for a good few minutes now.
If only she could roll further and actually get out of the raft!
The woman in blue has been trying to pull her leg to no avail.
The worst bit is that they’ve not even got one grandma out yet despite all this effort. How ever will they get June out?
Aunt June has so much tunnel vision trying to climb out that she forgot her shoes!
The grandkids have to yell out at her that she left her shoes.
Come on, June, you wouldn’t want to have to climb back in just to get the shoes, would you?
With some help, Grandma Joyce was finally able to make it out!
That’s one old lady out. I’m guessing her helper’s a little bit winded from pulling a whole grandma out of a raft.
Now back to June to see how much progress she’s been making.
Well, she doesn’t care for her shoes at this point.
She just wants to get the heck out of this raft!
And she did get out of the raft, with a nice strong slide off of the end of it.
But June didn’t have a plan for when she entered the water either.
She now laughs and worries a bit that she can’t swim. Imagine climbing out of that just to drown in shallow water!
Luckily, one of the grandkids helps her out. Now both grandmas are out of the raft!
Watching all of that made me laugh quite a bit, and I hope it gave you a chuckle or two as well.
