Luckily, someone was around to capture Mama C’s moment of glory so we can all keep smiling over her giddy dance moves.
Grandmas dancing is a totally underappreciated genre. The improvisation, the unbridled joy, and the attempts at trying out moves that they haven’t practiced all make us smile. We’re not laughing at them – they’re having so much fun that we’re laughing WITH them.
Now, we can’t pretend that we feel as passionate as Mama C does when Vanilla Ice comes on, but to each their own.
Her jam is the 1990 hit “Ice Ice Baby.”
Ok then. To be fair, we can’t help but sing along whenever we hear that bit of nostalgia.
And she makes this song seem great again. It doesn’t matter that she seems to be in the middle of making dinner or that food seems to be actively cooking on the stove, she grabs her pan and starts rockin’.
To make it even funnier, she’s joined by her adorable pup.
“I love how the dog keeps coming up to her and looking around like ‘Is anyone else concerned? I’m concerned! What’s happening? She’s unwell!'” a commenter joked.
The dog seems excited and a little confused, especially when she gets down low. But she lets the doggo join in on the fun by dancing around it and picking it up for some duo moves.
And she doesn’t skip a beat – she’s dancing, she’s stirring, she’s moving her hips, she’s checking the fridge. She even manages not to step on the dog as she prepares her dancing diner.
This is an amazing video that further proves that age is really just a number. With over 5 million views on YouTube, this grandma’s moves are the talk of the Internet.
One YouTube user asked, “Why do you young people think we have no moves? Kids, we INVENTED moves!”
We certainly can’t argue with that.

And she’s apparently not the only grandma that likes to get funky.

It’s pretty clear that Mama C not only entertained people but inspired them as well. She’s proving that you’re never too old to have some fun and let loose.
