Being a beggar isn’t easy. Apart from the harsh words they hear from other people, they don’t have any certainty in life. Finding food is hard. Having a safe place to call home isn’t easy, too.
A young man named CJ took his luck on the streets.
There, he waited for people who would help him. He was wearing plain clothes and a bag behind his back. It’s hard not to see that he’s having a hard life.
When CJ saw a man coming his way, he approached him.
He asked the man:
“Can you please help me get something to eat?”
Fortunately, the man didn’t turn his back on the boy.
He asked him what he wanted. The young man’s answer was very simple. He simply wanted food for himself and his brother.
The man asked a few questions to understand the young man’s situation.
He asked where he lives and if he can cook. CJ politely answered all of his questions. He even shared that they have a fridge at home.
After getting the answers he needed, the man asked CJ to follow him.
They went to his vehicle. There, he gave CJ not just a meal but lots of food and supplies. He even gave him money.
At this point, the young man was left speechless. He turned his head a bit and tried his best not to cry. It’s really a heartwarming reaction.
CJ was so grateful for the man’s kindness.
He repeatedly said to him:
“Thank you, Uncle. God bless you, Uncle.”
He’s a kind young man.
Despite his situation, CJ still keeps a positive mindset. He’s not letting his situation bring him down.
He shared:
“Every morning, I stand up and just say thank you because I wake up.”
CJ’s story and the man’s generosity inspired a lot of people.
The video of their encounter has over 580,000 views. Most of the people who’ve seen it have positive things to say about them.

The man who helped CJ goes by the name of BI Phakathi.
He has a lot of videos of him helping other people. Because of his kindness and generosity, he’s quite popular on the internet. In fact, his YouTube channel has over 400,000 subscribers. He has over 26,000 followers on Twitter.
