When most of us take on the task of cleaning the kitchen, it’s not always fun and games. But actress Goldie Hawn likes to transform the chore into a total dance-fest!
The 74-year-old posted a video on Instagram recently, and it’s putting a smile on a lot of faces. Frankly, you may never wash the dishes the same after seeing how the blonde beauty does it.
Goldie Hawn has been lifting people’s spirits for decades with her humor and fun-loving personality. She’s even doing so without ever stepping foot outside the house!
Back in March, Goldie posted a video of her rocking out to “Dance Monkey” while dressed in workout gear. We even get a peek at her family’s Los Angeles home as she energetically dances and moves between rooms.
In May, she showed everyone that you can have a blast on a small trampoline.
The Overboard star hit her family’s home gym during quarantine, but there was nothing dreadful about her workout. She danced and jumped to Dua Lipa’s song “Physical” with a cheerful attitude. Seriously, isn’t she amazing?
In the latest video, Goldie once again puts on her dancing shoes.
This time though, she turns the kitchen into a dance club and has her family by her side too. It starts out with OutKast’s hit song “Hey Ya!” cranked up in the background and Goldie washing a glass in the sink. But there’s nothing boring about her cleaning method.
She wrote on Instagram:
“Washing dishes doesn’t have to be a chore, it can be a dance! 💃🏼 It’s all up to us ❤️🍽”
Goldie dances around the kitchen to the music, looking vibrant and full of life.
She seems so youthful, it makes you wonder if she got a hold of the magic potion from Death Becomes Her. Just saying.
Dancing is always more fun when you have a partner or two.
In the video, you can see Kurt Russell’s son, Boston, grooving as well. He’s got a towel and appears to be helping his dad with the drying (all while cutting loose).
I don’t know about you, but if this is what house cleaning looked like in my home, I’d be like, “Can we move on to dusting? Does everybody want to team up on the laundry?”
We even get a glimpse of Kurt at the end of the video.
The Hollywood actor also has a huge smile on his face, but really, how could he not?
Speaking of spreading joy, Goldie Hawn’s video has been doing just that since she posted it. Many people see her as an inspiration. One fan wrote:
“I think I need to lighten up and be like her😊”
Another person commented:
“My goal in life is to be as much like Goldie as possible 😂👏🏻”
It’s easy to see from this clip that Goldie values spending time with her family. She told Australian Women’s Weekly in a 2019 interview:
“A good family is the answer to happiness. I look at our kids and grandchildren and there’s nothing in the world that could make me as proud as I am of all them.”
