A wedding ceremony is usually beautiful and tear-jerking. But once it’s reception time, look out! That’s when everyone finally lets their hair down and tons of fun takes place.
Receptions aren’t just about eating, drinking, and partying it up though. Many couples pack heartwarming traditions in there too, like speeches, dances, and the unforgettable tossing of the bouquet.
One wedding tradition that typically leads to laughter is the garter belt toss. You know, where the groom removes the bride’s garter from her leg using just his teeth? After that, he flings it into the crowd, and the bachelors fight to catch it.

The garter belt removal is always entertaining for both the newlywed couple and the guests watching. But at one wedding, it became even more of a hysterical scene thanks to the best man and his comical prank.
So, what did he do? Let’s just say it started with him pulling down his pants.
The groom was blindfolded so he had no clue what was going on.
Underneath the best man’s pants was a pair of white stockings. And on one of his thighs was a garter belt. See where this is going?
As to be expected, the bride was in on it too.
After the best man sat down in what was supposed to be her chair, she stood behind him to help out with the prank. Little did the groom know he was going to be using his teeth on the completely wrong leg.

In the video, ZZ Top’s song “Legs” is in the background as the blindfolded groom kneels in front of his buddy. He starts out by feeling his leg and foot and seems to notice that something’s not quite right…
The groom then reaches up, and for a moment it appears that the prank is over before it even got good! Luckily, the bride sticks her head out so he touches her face – assuring him there’s no shenanigans going on. Pheww!
He can’t keep his hands to himself.
Although the groom already located the leg, he continues to feel around, unaware of who he’s really touching. The bride once again saves the day by giving him assurance.
He tries to remove the garter belt with his hands at first – but that’s just not funny enough for the bride.
So she tells him, “Do it with your mouth!” The groom then attacks the garter belt with his teeth like a hungry animal. Looking at the best man’s face, it’s safe to say he’s regretting his participation at that moment.
He can no longer control his laughter.
The best man did such a good job of not cracking up and ruining the prank. But as his friend fights to get the garter off his foot, he can’t hold back.
It’s finally time to take the blindfold off.
At first, the groom is very proud of himself. He holds the garter up to the crowd like he’s accomplished winning a trophy. Then, he looks at his “bride” in the chair…
