Summer is almost here, which means that we can soon flock to the beach and let our inner weirdos out!
The beach is one of society’s great unifiers. People from all walks of life head to the coast every summertime to bask in the sun, eat ice cream and paddle about.
You’d think that all those different people meeting in the same space would lead to some pretty interesting things, wouldn’t you? Well, you’re right.
The beach is the ideal place for people watching.
Not only is there always plenty of spectacle, but you can also enjoy it all from behind sunglasses, meaning you can stare and stare away! Here are 25 amazing beach occurrences to whet your people watching appetite:
1. Wow, they should make a movie about singing and dancing cats!

2. Just one towel, no hogging going on here
To be fair, that looks like a big beach. There’s enough space for everyone. Where do you buy a towel this big, at the top of a beanstalk?
3. That circle won’t stop the ocean

Fun fact: this is a beach solely for horror movie bad guys and monsters. Because horrific fictional murderers need to relax in the sun too sometimes. Most beaches have ice cream. This one has I scream.
