Kira Janzen

This story involves a baby named Kira who’s the daughter of Nick and Ivy Janzen. Like a lot of parents, they make frequent trips to local stores. In this case, they headed to Walmart. They weren’t planning on spending much money, just looking for a few items to add to the dinner menu.

Visiting the electronics department

While adults typically love looking around the electronics department, there’s not much there for an infant. But then something happened that changed that. As the father looked at various things, he spotted a television monitor.

Let the fun begin

Nick thought that maybe his daughter would like to see herself on the screen. So, he lifts her up. The second she spotted her image she began to smile. Her entire face lit up. Now, there’s no telling if Kira knew that was her or just another baby but it didn’t matter. She was immediately captivated.

People noticed

Nick realized that Kira looking at herself on the TV monitor was extra special. So, he continued to hold her there. Quickly, other shoppers saw the baby’s image and thought it was pretty awesome. Several people stopped to look at this precious child having the time of her life.

Shoppers started to laugh

The more fun the baby had the more shoppers laughed. After all, the last thing they expected to see while in Walmart was the face of a tiny baby grinning from ear-to-ear. That’s when Ivy decided she’d better snap a few photos.

Twitter bound

After returning home, the mom scanned the photos and couldn’t believe how great they were. So, she uploaded them to Twitter. Before long, people near and far began to share her tweet. Those innocent photos spread like wildfire. Do you remember when we said they’d been viewed millions of times? How about 43 million to be exact.

A real shock

But here’s the funny thing. When Ivy posted the photos of Kira on Twitter, she thought they were set to family and friends only. She had no idea she had the account set for public viewing. When she started to receive compliments, she was shocked but extremely excited. That was her baby that everyone was cooing over.

Sweet comments

Even when people share something nice on social media, it’s common for a few individuals to leave negative comments. But that’s not what Nick and Ivy read. Everyone was so sweet. One individual wrote, “This is the funniest thing I’ve seen all day.” Another person said, “This made me smile.”
