Weddings can be wonderful things. The dress-up for the men and women, the fun atmosphere of two people in love, and of course, the memorable moments. Weddings seem to make memorable moments better than almost anything in life! Maybe it is the copious amounts of alcohol or maybe it’s the copious amounts of family interaction – whichever it is, they are worth filming!
There is always one moment that lends itself to humor.
If a wedding goes perfectly according to plan, nobody has any laughs! A good wedding isn’t about the decorations and aplomb as much as it is the people and the memories. One of the most memorable scenes at any wedding is the flower-girl moment!
Kids are unpredictable. You can never be certain what exactly they are going to be doing at any given moment. Unlike adults, kids have no social standing to uphold, and no image they need to preserve. When they get the urge and need to do something, they simply do it!
When you ask a child to be the flower girl and ring bearer, you know you are opening yourself up to chance.
Nobody chooses a child to be the flower girl because its the safe route, they choose it because they care about the little one! They want to include them in the big moment as well as get a laugh or two! There is simply no way for a kid to get dressed up, rehearse, and walk alone to the front without causing a scene – that’s the whole reason you ask them!
One wedding found this to be perfectly true!
In a viral wedding video, a flower girl and ring bearer are walking to the front of the room during the beginning of the ceremony. This is the big moment that has been practiced for! The two of them have been warned by their parents that they need to stay straight and not mess things up or they won’t receive any treats.
Walking arm in arm, the two seem to be doing perfectly fine.
A perfectly executed wedding ceremony is a rare thing. As these two make it down the aisle, they seem to be doing a great job! As they continue walking, the cute flower girl in a white dress seems to get distracted. Thankfully, she pulls herself together and gets on with it.
Getting to the stairs, she realizes she is in trouble.
With her little legs and a billowy dress, she can’t manage to get onto the first step! She tries anyway and falls straight forward onto the stairs, completely helpless. Looking around, a Marine spots her. Walking forward, he lifts the little girl up like a perfect gentleman.
Now on the top, the little girl realizes that she has been through a lot over the past few minutes.
When you experience a lot, a good rest is often needed to correct yourself. This little girl seemed to get a bit tired all of a sudden and firmly decided to take a quick seat… right in the middle of the stage!
Thankfully, a man came and took her over to the bride’s side.
With a hilarious video recorded and chuckling resonating in the room, everything was ready for the bride to walk in.
