While some people are not too keen on riding airplanes to get where they want to be, this way of traveling is still considered to be the safest around.
However, this does not mean we can skip the safety procedures that need to be followed when flying.
Before the plane takes off, cabin crew and flight attendants make sure to give everyone on board a rundown on what needs to be done in cases of emergencies. The problem is that people are not always as focused when this important part of the travel is being done. The monotonous voices of flight announcers make it too boring that passengers sometimes take this significant speech for granted.
One flight attendant for Frontier Airlines knew about this tendency so she thought of a way to make the safety speech fun and interesting. This would also benefit the people on board a lot as they would surely remember the things they should do just in case an emergency occurs.
This flight attendant’s own set of safety instructions left everyone in stitches! Now, I bet his speech was not a bit boring at all.
In fact, his comedic words even made his own colleagues laugh out loud while trying to demonstrate the safety instructions on the plane’s aisle. What could be the best way to enjoy work than having a good laugh with your co-workers, right?
The flight attendant begins his safety talk about having to leave the airplane while in the middle of the flight. This may not seem to be a big concern on most flights, he wanted to make sure the passengers knew all they needed to know just in case.
“If you do decide to leave, you will not be allowed access back on board and parachutes are not included.”
When he said that, the passengers instantly knew that it was not going to be a boring talk at all. He surely got everyone’s attention!
He then went on to explain the use of life vests. He called them:
“…itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini. Minus the itsy bitsy teeny weeny and you get no polka dots.”
When one flight attendant heard this, she finally cracks and gave a loud laugh. She surely found that joke hilarious, and the passengers did, too! She laughs like it was her first time to hear her co-worker’s hilarious speech. It gets even better after that!
The flight attendant also shares how we can inflate the vests and the two ways to do it. One is by pulling on the tab or simply blowing on the vest. His snappy yet funny take on this guideline left everyone in hysterics.
“…for those of you who love to make life difficult you can blow on that red tube near your shoulder…”
In Frontier Airlines, it is a must that passengers understand the safety guidelines completely and correctly. Let’s just hope the passengers on board knew they were being joked and did not exactly follow the funny flight attendant’s instructions like choosing your favorite child when it comes to putting oxygen masks or using a co-passenger’s belongings when trying to stay afloat.
This flight attendant surely made everyone’s experience memorable and fun. Flying may be scary for some, but having someone on board help in loosening up and relaxing and finding the fun un flying makes all the positive difference.
