Participating in a school talent show allows kids to learn more about their talents and what they are truly passionate about. It also enables them to learn important character-building lessons while they’re practicing and performing with their classmates and friends. Plus, it allows them to have fun.
Two fifth-graders earned praises for their hilarious talent show performance.
One of the highlights of their show was their costume. They wore baby onesies!
If you look closely, you’ll see some strings attached to their arms. This enabled them to move their long arms. Their legs were short and that made them look even more hilarious.
The show started with the hit song Kung Fu Fighting.
As soon as the crown heard the song, they went ecstatic. They grew even more excited when the girls started moving.
At first, they stretch out their arms as if they’re getting ready for a Kung Fu battle. Then, they stretched their arms and legs as if they were about to show some serious martial art stunts.
And they did!
However, instead of a serious fight, the two started hitting each other in the funniest way. Their long arms and short legs made their actions a lot funnier.
Then, Pharrell Williams’ Happy played.
The part was short but it sent the crowd chuckling. The pair looked ridiculous dancing to it with their puppet costumes!
They played Psy’s Gangnam Style, too.
At this point, they started busting (almost) synchronized moves. They performed the actual steps to the song and they looked super funny.
The pair played several more hit songs.
And they did an awesome job picking the best ones. They had Beyonce’s Single Ladies, Soulja Boy’s Tell’em, and DJ Khaled’s All I Do Is Win.
Even though the girls’ movements were restricted by the costumes, they still managed to do some epic dance moves. They definitely got swag and style.
And just when the crowd thought they’ve seen everything, the pair stopped and grabbed some sunglasses.
Even with strings and short legs, they were able to show the crowd some awesome dance moves. They even swung their tiny bodies from side to side. Overall, it was definitely a really fun performance.
School talent shows offer a way for students to show not just their creative side but their sense of humor, too.
They help kids feel more confident about what they love and what they can do. Plus, they also encourage kids to be resourceful. These fifth graders, for example, used a piece of fabric to create their backdrop. They didn’t use any complicated props in their performance. With just their onesies, sunglasses, and creativity, they delivered a performance the school won’t forget.
Their video has more than 7 million views and thousands of comments.
People who have seen the performance have nothing but praises for the pair.
One of them said:
“This I the cutest thing ever !! Way to go kids πππ₯”
Another viewer commented:
“LOL I love that it was so funny and amazing and I like how the girls arms are longer than the entire suits bodies.”
These fifth-graders have a bright future ahead of them. With their creativity, sense of humor, and confidence, they can surely conquer anything their hearts desire.
