We are drawn to the ocean. It’s as simple as that. The sound of waves crashing on the shore, the sand between your toes, having fun with your friends, the sea air, yes-most of us could spend days on the beach. However, as it usually happens, when people come, they also leave something behind. No, we are not talking about garbage right now.
Let’s take a look at the 32 most unusual items found on the beaches.
Someone took a photo of a beer can with a heartwarming note. The beer was left at the beach by three daughters for a random stranger to drink it in their father’s honor. Let’s hope it’s not some prank. The can doesn’t seem like it’s been tampered with.
2. Where is the second half of the message?
Again, a message was found on the beach. The person who found it took a photo of one side of the paper. An arrow at the bottom of the message is pointing out that there’s more to the story. Now, we’ll never know what was Roger’s wife supposed to know.
Two friends played with a bunch of rocks on the beach, and this is what they came up with in the end. Impressive! Now, do other states! Just joking.
4. Bottle caps? From one beach???
Yes, it looks like a piece of art at first sight. Well, you could say it’s art made of bottle caps. Look how huge that thing is! Do we really throw so many bottle caps on beaches?! Shame on us!
For those who don’t know it, a sea wash ball is a bunch of whelk eggs. Pretty cool. Plus, it seems somewhat luxurious.
An ammonite you see in the photo was spotted on a beach walk in South West England. It’s such a shame that there is no way to get it out of the rock without it. We guess we’ll just let nature be with this one.
7. What a beautiful stone rainbow?!
Look at those beautiful blue, red, and yellow stones. Someone has put a lot of effort into lining them perfectly. In case you wonder, the photo is from Hornsea Beach, UK.
8. Is this from Pirates of the Caribbean?
The original caption says that this rather weird item was found on the French shore after the storm. Is it part of the ship? It looks very creepy.

Is it real? Waas it photoshopped? The shape seems too perfect. Wow, nature does wonder all the time.
10. Gorgeous glacial ice!
Very metallic-looking! We love the shape of it. Too bad it will melt; otherwise, it would make a fantastic ornament or a piece of jewelry!

12. Another beautiful ammonite!
It is unbelievable how much the pyrite fossil looks like it’s made of metal. It was found on an English beach. Praise Helix.
Did humans make these stacked stone arches? Let’s hope they went for a swim after they got it done. Some would say it had to be aliens.
14. Rest in peace, Phoebe!
What a clever move? An owner lost his dog, so he decided to put a basket full of tennis balls on the beach so that other dogs can play. It’s his way of celebrating Phoebe’s life. Our hearts have just melted completely.
Check out the sandcastle in the photo. Those lines are amazing. It must have taken hours and hours of work. Anyway, as impressed as we were by the castle, we couldn’t stop looking at those pants standing in the background. What is going on?!
16. Whale skull beach. Sounds familiar?!
Now, you don’t come across such a gigantic skull on the beach every day. Of course, the man had to take a photo with it. Who would have thought that a whale’s skull looks like that?
Here, we have a perfect ice chair made of a sea weathered chunk of glacial ice in Iceland. Also, take a look at the black sand. Beautiful!
Look at two circles in the photo. Well, that branch in the middle got stuck in the sand, the wind rotated it, and that’s how it drew the circles. Excellent, we know.
19. Almost a hundred years old!
The Smile Soda Bottle was patented in 1922, and someone found it on the beach. Isn’t it interesting that it was located close to its one-century birthday?! Indeed, it is a beautiful bottle!

Beach keepers decided to put some commonly found garbage on display. That’s not all. There is also information about how long it takes for it to decompose. Very smart! We hope that people will become more aware.
22. Sandcastle in Jerusalem!
Whoever made this is a bonafide artist. Check out how cool it is. Too bad it’s in the shade, so we can’t see its beauty on full display.
Giant squid washed up in Wellington, New Zealand. If you ever wondered how big it is, look at its size compared to a man lying next to it. Wow!

The kit is from the 1970s. How peculiar?! It’s hard to believe that it was lying around all these years. It’s a remarkable finding, though.
If this doesn’t prove that everyone loves to walk on the sand, we don’t know what will. Or maybe it’s a one-legged man pushing a wheelbarrow while walking his pet dog and a flamingo.
