We all know him by his WWE name “The Rock.” But not everyone knows, he also has a soft spot in his heart.
Dwayne Douglas Johnson popularly known as “The Rock” was born with a heart of gold.
Apart from, of course, loving his family, he also shares his blessings with charities and gives back to the community, his friends, former colleagues, and even strangers.
One of his recent acts of kindness that went extremely viral was when he gave MMA fighter Themba Gorimbo a house.
In a heartwarming Instagram video, The Rock wrote.
“Welcome home @thembagorimbo_mma,” his caption read. “You and your family enjoy your new house brother. Lights are on. Bills are paid. Keep your ‘My Reason’ list close, keep taking care of your people and I’m honored to play a very, very small role in your $7 bucks journey. $7 bucks. I’ve been there too. Got your back brother. Let’s get to work on that dream of becoming @ufc champion one day. Welcome home ~ DJ.”
And just in time for the holidays, “Dwanta-Claus” did it again.
In collaboration with famous TikTok star and philanthropist Isaiah Garza, the two blessed a total stranger with an immense amount of cash.
This uplifting story unfolds as Garza seeks someone to assist and encounters Lilia, a hardworking single mother raising two boys.
She had no clue that her holiday season was about to get a lot brighter.
The philanthropist initiated their interaction by saying, “Hello, I like your pants. I have a question. I’m sorry to bother you guys. I am just trying to get a little Christmas present for my daughter. I am kind of low on cash.”
Responding warmly, Lilia answered him and said, “Okay, how much do you want?”
Garza asked, “Okay, do you have seven bucks on you?”
Without hesitation, she unhesitatingly handed him seven dollars, no, in fact, $10!
When questioned about her act of kindness, she humbly replied, “Because I also have children.”
Garza then led her to Johnson, who had been quietly observing their beautiful interaction.
With persuasive words, Garza mentioned someone he knew was eager to help people.
They then walked together with Lilia still clueless about what was about to happen to her.
As they walked together, a Hollywood star emerged from behind, surprising her.
Overwhelmed by the unexpected encounter, the Black Adam actor extended gratitude to Lilia for her kindness and generosity by rewarding her kindness back with $7,000 cash!
Dwayne Johnson even shared their beautiful interaction on his Instagram.
“Surprise to this amazing mama!! Newly divorced, single mom, working hard to raise two young boys,” he wrote. “My good buddy and amazing soul @isaiahgarza helped me find some good people willing to give him $7bucks, then when they met me (surprise) I added a few more zeroes and gave it back to them.”
The Rock and Garza’s act of kindness moved a lot of viewers to tears.
“This was truly beautiful and to be honest, brought a tear to my eye. I wish I could have done this kind of thing this year because even though my family found ourselves in severe need I tried raising money for a local food and clothing pantry that helps the needy with financial assistance and I couldn’t raise anything..people like you guys are sorely missed in this world. Thank you both for sharing some well-needed love and Christmas magic. Bless you both,” wrote one viewer on YouTube.
It’s true and kindness should not be done for a day or a special occasion, it should be naturally done every single day.
