Normally, adults are the ones responsible in teaching children about the right values and deeds. But, we never realize that we, grown-ups, can also learn a lot from these sweet, innocent kids.
A little boy with Down syndrome has gained popularity online because of a video that went viral for all the right reasons. The video of him surfaced earlier this month showing how he comforted his crying classmate.
The young boy from Jalisco in Western Mexico was caught on tape as he was trying to comfort his friend who happen to have autism. The boy’s genuine kindness and heartwarming love for his friend is definitely a source of inspiration!
In the footage captured and uploaded by a teacher in their school, the young boy with Down syndrome slowly walked towards another young student who was clearly upset over something. Seeing that his classmate was in tears, the boy came up to his friend and used his hand to wipe his tears away.
The boy with autism was still visibly upset, so the kindhearted boy hugged his classmate and tried his best to soothe him by stroking his hair. He even re-adjusted his position to properly give him a huge hug. What a really kind gesture!
The classroom had calming music playing on the background the entire time, and it was a great help in calming the boy with autism. Of course, the boy with Down syndrome also knew what to do as he then stroked his friend’s back to calm him down.
By the video’s end, it can be seen that the boy with autism is still a little bit upset and tried to break away from his classmate momentarily. They ended up waving their hand in the air cheerfully which only meant that he calmed down a bit after getting his friend’s reassuring hug.
The video has since become viral after it was uploaded on Facebook. People online were totally moved by the boy’s innocent heart that was always ready to give love to anyone who needs it. Positive comments were pouring, giving praises for the kindhearted little boy and how children with autism and Down syndrome are the kindest and most gentle people they know.

This little boy’s condition may called a disability, but it can’t be denied that he did not need to be just like the rest of us just to be kind to another. He is definitely an inspiration because of the genuine kindness that he is gifted with.
