Christine is a mother of three that went up and beyond to care for her family. She had one teeny-tiny problem though… her daughters felt she desperately needed a style upgrade!
But thanks to the Rachael Ray Show, Christine was flown out to New York City where she received the “mother of all makeovers.” Let’s just say she ended up walking out looking decades younger and like a sexy, hot mama.
It’s an inspiring transformation that has viewers cheering over the results!
A selfless woman with a heart of gold.
Christine was one of those people that could juggle a lot of plates in the air without letting one drop. Besides being a loving wife and mother, she was also a rehab nurse as well.
That’s not all though. Five years earlier her husband suffered a stroke, which led Christine to have to care for him – on top of keeping their entire household afloat.
During the interview, one of her daughters explained:
“Our mom is a true superhero, she’s the least selfish person I know. Everything she does is for everyone else.”
Christine’s style began to suffer.
With how busy Christine was, it’s not surprising that her looks ended up moving to the back burner. There are only 24-hours in a day, after all!
Her daughters explained that she liked to hide behind layers and turned to “comfortable” clothes. Going through her closet they found attire straight from the 1980s (but apparently, not the cool kind).
Although they loved and appreciated their mom, the girls weren’t too happy about her frumpy style.
Rachael Ray swooped in and came to the rescue.
Christine’s daughters nominated her to be selected for a makeover on Rachael’s show. Of course, she was the perfect candidate.
The girls surprised Christine with the exciting news while she was at work. Fortunately, she was on board for it.
Through tears she said:
“I feel thankful. I’m thankful for my children for thinking about me. I’m embarrassed because I need a makeover. I know there’s a lot of people out there that could benefit from a makeover – so I feel very blessed that I was picked for one.”
For all that Christine did for her family, it was about time that she was pampered too.
Behind the scenes, Christine was worked on by a style team that included famous makeup artist, Mally Roncal. Everyone was brought on stage for the big reveal – and even Rachael hadn’t seen her new look yet.
Mally gave a little clue when she told the host:
“This might be the best one we’ve ever done.”
It’s a reveal that’s a roller-coaster of emotions.
Christine ended up stepping onto the stage looking like a million bucks! With a new hairstyle, makeup, and a trendy outfit she was not only gorgeous – but appeared much younger too.
Rachael Ray couldn’t contain her amazement, while others couldn’t hold back their tears. Christine’s new look simply blew everyone away.
