Friends just make the world a better place don’t they!?
Dogs are no exception to this as they always seem a little happier with a playmate.
This is especially the case with one very friendly, strong-willed boxer named Daisy.
Her days are spent with one goal in mind…meeting up with her BFF, which just happens to be a horse.
The two have been almost inseparable with Daisy sneaking out every day to her friend’s house. While it’s wonderful that Daisy has found a trusted companion, it is not so wonderful that she slinks out of the house and her owner is none the wiser.
Daisy isn’t too thrilled about her owners catching up with her.
In a now viral video, her owner has just about had enough as she picks Daisy up in the car yet again. The look on Daisy’s face is a hilarious mixture of surprise, annoyance and guilt. All her owner can do in the moment is talk to Daisy and tell her how naughty she has been. She gently talks to Daisy about why this keeps happening.
“You come over here every day…this isn’t your house!”
At first, Daisy tries to ignore her mom and look around like nothing is wrong.
But she knows that she has been caught and there is no escape. Her owner tries to reason with Daisy about her escapades at the neighbor’s house.
“You know you’re not supposed to be here right?”
“You need to stay home with Mac…he is your friend!”
All Daisy can do at this point is wail and howl to show her frustration and embarrassment. She knows she should be home with Mac but her heart belongs to the horse. And we are pretty sure the feeling is mutual.
Daisy proceeds to let her owner know just how she feels about the whole situation. Which is basically more drama and more hysterically funny facial expressions.
“Why don’t you like staying home?” You always get mad at us when we come to get you.”
These words seem to catch Daisy by surprise and she is yet again thrown into a whirlwind of emotions and feelings. The eyes say it all…and the cries of course.
But just when Daisy thought the guilt couldn’t get any worse, she realizes it can.
“We like it when you’re home, we miss you.”
Then in an adorable teenage moment, Daisy starts to shake her head ‘no,’ showing off her spirit and personality. Her heart might be breaking but her boisterous attitude is alive and well.
She is not happy about her playdate being cut short.
Her owner tries to calm her down but the crying and whimpering continue. Adorably, her owner gently asks her to apologize for her behavior.
“Say you’re sorry.”
To that, Daisy lowers her sad puppy face in defeat.
Well in the end she may have been caught, but this feisty boxer is most likely already plotting her next great escape.
