Although things are slowly getting back to normal after the outbreak of COVID-19, there are still plenty of distancing measures in place.

Many people are still working from home and plenty of students are still being taught virtually.

As you probably know from first-hand experience, the stay-at-home orders and the social distancing measures have been both a struggle and a blessing.

At its worst, a full house can seem crowded and chaotic–transforming into a space that’s in no way conducive to productivity and learning.

However, at its best, having a full house can create moments of extreme silliness that will create lifelong memories.

For one family, life at home during the pandemic was certainly a unique experience.

There were two working adults in this house, along with three young children being taught online.

When one of the children, Delaney, started filming a video for her teacher, her dad Isaac couldn’t resist having a little fun in the background.

Delaney films herself walking the viewer through a tutorial on how to make a craft.

She decides to play some music while she works.

As soon as the music comes on, dad dances into the frame.

He starts making hilarious moves and claps along to the beat.

The funniest part about all of this is that Delaney isn’t the least bit concerned about her ridiculous dad.

She just continues on with filming herself, briefly stopping to sigh and explain, “That’s my dad.”

Isaac continues on with his dance moves and decides to bring his son into the mix.

He swings him around in the air, causing his son to laugh hysterically.

When KATU News caught up with Isaac, he had this to say:

“I was just doing what we would normally do. I was just being goofy dad.”

Apparently, Delaney makes tutorial videos like this all of the time, but she doesn’t always send them to her teacher.

Issac didn’t realize that she would be sending this one, but I’m sure her teacher was glad that she did.

Once Delaney’s mom, Jennifer, saw the video she couldn’t help but upload it to Facebook.

From there, the video went viral.

Jennifer had this to say about the video:

“20 years from now, we’ll look back and say ‘remember that time where it was really hard and it was really emotional and the whole world was struggling but we were able to find joy in those moments?’ I think that’s why people relate to this video so much.”

This is certainly a video that people can find joy in and we are so glad that Jennifer decided to share this hilarious moment with the rest of the world.

Isaac and Jennifer hope to use these strange times as a lesson for their kids. They say that they want to teach them that:

“there’s a storm, but there’s always going to be the sunlight after the storms.”

I think that this family is doing a great job weathering this storm.
