Cowboy cousins perform hilarious dance earning 2.5 million views
I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time, especially with their dance break at the end.

Callmechoko, a small internet celebrity and performer, is a die-hard, true spirited cowboy. And he loves to dance.

One of his most popular uploads is a kooky, killing dance with two of his cousins (at least, he tells us they are). A parking lot might not look anything like the wild, wild west.

But believe me, when the trio starts moving, this parking lot will light up like a gunfight lights up an old saloon.

His ice-breaker is some good old hip thrusting. The sight of a mustached cowboy thrusting his hips in a parking lot must be legendary.

I don’t know whether this is a universal experience, but meeting your cool cousins at family gatherings is the best part of those gatherings. They’re your own little squad outside of your school best friends, and you may even spend more time hanging with them than with any of your other relatives there.

And if you and your cousins are all cowboys, even better.

The video title “When You Link Up With Your Favorite Cousins At The Quinceanera”, a prime opportunity for a short history lesson. Did you know most cowboys were actually black or Hispanic? The Cowboy name and tradition even trace its origin to Spain.

Now his cousins here don’t have spurred cowboy boots. They’ve got fresh and sporty kicks in place of that.

Cowboys didn’t start out as rootin tootin’, pistol-shootin’ nomads with cool ponchos and hats. A typical cowboy would have been a trained horseback rider in charge of overseeing livestock. A cowboy’s typical job would be, as the name implies, to guard and lead cattle while on horseback.

I cannot verify that cowboys were historically required to dance at Quinceanera’s, though.

But there is a first time for everything. Heck, what girl wouldn’t want dancing cowboys at her Quinceanera? Callmechoko and his two cousins would probably be down for that too.

No one should doubt their moves either. They might be on the heavy side, sure. But how many of you can move as light on your toes as them?

This is a certified “Me and the boys” moment.

Matter of fact, this video does a pretty good way of summarizing what getting along with your cousins is like. Having relatives the same age as you besides your siblings can be a blessing. Sure, the annoying cousin cliche isn’t without basis, but those aren’t the only cousins there are.

These 3? Even I wish my cousins and I were this cool. What’s more, the fact that they’re still kicking it together as grown men with jobs (and maybe kids too) is the kind of relationship I’d totally aspire to have with my cousins.

I particularly admire the intentional slapstick and silly dance style at play here. They’re aware that they look silly – they’re a mega-mustached man and 2 fat guys dressed like cowboys for crying out loud. Might as well own it and light up this fairly desolate parking lot.

How many times do you reckon someone’s walked past one of them not knowing they just encountered a cowboy?

Let’s send our yees and haws to these 3 buckaroos for being superb dancers and cool cousins too. But most of all, for keeping the cowboy tradition and look going.

With quarantine in full-swing, you probably have time to watch a ton of videos at home. Add this one to the list and hit the play button down below!
