Police officers are sworn to keep the community safe and secure, but some cops go beyond this responsibility.
They give so much more than expected and almost leave nothing for themselves and more for the people they serve.
They selflessly offer their time, effort, and material possessions just to uphold peace, love, and genuine kindness in the neighborhoods they are in charge of.
It is indeed inspiring to know that there are people like them in this world.

Meet Officer Dean Fay.
He may be a former police officer now, but his love for the community is something that resonated with everyone who gets to know him.
The cop has been in service for about 18 years, and his main goal is to always make sure that the people he looks after are safe and in good hands.
In his years of being a cop, he has seen that boys in the neighborhood can sometimes end up living lives that take on a dark direction because of the people who surround them.
Some boys become gang members which also results in the community being filled with worry and danger.
The kind cop found a way to ensure this does not happen to the young people in the neighborhood.
He thought of a way to keep the young ones off the streets and make them know the value of hard work, discipline, love, and preparing for a better future.
He had a brilliant idea in mind, but it meant having to give almost all of his own money.
Officer Dean decided to build a boxing gym to give the boys in the neighborhood something to work on.
He made sure the young men in the community who were not doing good in school had the opportunity to do better by discovering the beauty of boxing.
By building the boing gym he called “Central City Boxing and Barbells Gym,” Officer Dean gave a way for young boys to cope in life.
He taught them the value of hard work and how one needs to discipline himself in order to get to their dreams.
Boxing is about letting out anger and finding something to inspire the boys in the community.
Officer Dean is now coaching numerous young boys in the community and teaching them wholeheartedly why they should never give up and why doing their best for their dreams is important.
The kids have learned to control their emotions, be prepared for what’s ahead of them, and do better in school as well.
Coach Dean will allow young boys to visit the gym if they keep their grades up continuously.
What an inspiring cop, indeed!
His selfless endeavor reached the Steve TV Show, and the former police officer was invited to talk about his journey, and three of his students came with him.
Steve Harvey applauded the cop’s efforts in giving the boys a new reason to fight for their future.
Steve even invited the Charlo twins as a bonus for their visit to the show.
Jermall and Jermell Charlo are renowned boxers from Houston who graced the show to share more encouragement with the young boys.
The lads even got free tickets to their boxing match!
