We all go through periods of “waiting” in our lives, whether we are still looking for work or not.
Even if you’re working from home or traveling at work, taking an online class, or attending a video conference, waiting can be tedious.
However, as they say, there’s a good thing in waiting.
You can always turn quiet time into something useful, right? Reading a book while waiting in a subway metro or catching up with an old friend while on break is just a few ways to make your waiting time more productive.
That’s exactly what happened to this guy who’s working as a concierge.
He uses his talent in his free time while at work.
The concierge is the first point of contact between a guest and a company.
They are responsible for responding to guest inquiries, directing phone calls, coordinating travel plans, and other duties. They must always uphold company culture while making guests feel welcome and valued.
When a young girl named Tommi Rose heard the front desk’s mesmerizing voice, she knew she had to sing with him.
Tommi was paying a visit to a friend in an apartment complex. While waiting for her mother to pick her up in the lobby, she overheard the concierge singing.

She found the courage to stand up and speak to him because the melody was too beautiful to ignore. However, her mother arrived just a few moments later, and it was time to go.
Though, the story did not end there.
Tommi returned to the same location a few months later for a graduation party.
And, you guessed it, she ran into the man again! Call it luck or what you will, but she did not let this opportunity pass her by this time. She went back over to the desk, but she’s not there to talk. Instead, she decided to finally ask him for a duet, which he gladly agreed to.
The concierge was the first to take the stage, letting his voice soar as he sang Dolly Parton’s iconic song “I Will Always Love You.”
It was breathtakingly rich and emotional! Following the powerful chorus performance, the female singer decided to take over.
She sang her own version, which is equally lovely but a little softer and delicate.
Their amazing spontaneous performance was praised in the viral post, and one would love to sing with them as well.
“They both have beautiful voices would love to sing with both of em in a video!”
The duo’s tones and approaches may have differed, but they are both brilliant in their own right. The two strangers are also blown away by each other’s voices. It’s too angelic to look at!

After their unexpected duet, the two shared a heartfelt embrace before parting ways.
This wonderful coincidence has remarkably bound the lives of two talented strangers.
Guess destiny truly works in mysterious ways. Indeed, there is a reward to waiting!
