An adorable Budweiser commercial has the internet falling in love with a little donkey with big dreams.
Budweiser’s legendary Clydesdale horses are well known within the farming and racing community since their horse team was established in 1933 as a celebration of the end of prohibition.
In the video, a young donkey is seen describing his lifelong dream to be a part of this epic team.
A brief montage is shown of him working to achieve his dreams and making up for everything that he naturally lacks. From pulling beer in the pulley to getting hair extensions on his legs, the donkey tries to do whatever he can to achieve his dreams.
Then, he manages to get a chance to show his hard work and dedication to the Clydesdale horses and gives a hilarious audition.
While we don’t know what he said because it is in his native tongue, we do get to see the adorable guy become a part of the Budweiser team!
The end result is inspirational, touching, and absolutely hilarious. It’s amazing how this commercial still touches our hearts well over a decade later.
We love commercials with a message and this one that fills us with hope. It’s a bit of an older video, but we truly love it nonetheless, and its tale is as classic as the beer itself.
Viewers keep coming back to the classic commercial years later and leaving comments, such as:

“One of my favs. The look on the Clydesdales is hilarious and that donkey when he answers is so funny makes my day.”
While some remembered that the Budweiser frogs took over for the majestic horses for a little while, the Clydesdales have been back in recent years during Superbowl commercials and fans are thrilled.

The beer company even maintains a ranch for the beautiful animals.
“Warm Springs Ranch is the official breeding facility of the Budweiser Clydesdales. Resting on 300-plus acres of rolling hills in the heart of Missouri, our state-of-the-art establishment will take your breath away,” reads their website.
The property was built in 2008 and is home to more than 70 Clydesdales that roam around on 10 pastures and have the benefits of a specialized on-site veterinary lab.
These horses are well taken care of, to be sure!

People can even visit the ranch and learn what it really takes to make the Budweiser official team (hint: there doesn’t seem to be any space for donkeys).
We’re glad to see these special animals back in the spotlight. And we’re hoping that the donkey did well for himself too. In fact, we wouldn’t mind getting an update during the next Superbowl!
The commercial is a bit old (and 2004-quality), but it’s still sure to warm your heart.
