Brittany and Jeremy Peck’s wedding ceremony had quite an unexpected twist. The two lovebirds were about the give each other their vows and their first kiss as husband as wife, but the wedding ceremony didn’t exactly go as planned.

About halfway through the bridal procession, Brittany’s father Todd Bachman suddenly stopped and went over to grab Brittany’s stepfather. The biological father Todd wanted to make sure that both himself and his daughter’s stepfather would walk the beautiful bride to the altar.

A couple of moments later, and both the father Todd as the stepfather literally walked hand in hand to give their blessing to this marriage and give Brittany away, just as if they were always one big family.

Delia Blackburn, the wedding photographer, couldn’t believe what she was seeing. She posted and shared pictures of the beautiful wedding ceremony on her Facebook page.

“Grab tissues… because you will need it as you look through these pictures. Todd Bachman, father of the bride, brought his daughter to the beginning of the aisle…he stopped the procession while people were confused at his actions and he walked up to his daughter’s stepfather.”

“Todd reached out his hand and grabbed Brittany’s stepfather and pulled him down the aisle to walk their daughter down the aisle together. NOT A DRY EYE at the ceremony..including me! Families are what we make them…make it about your kids and not your ego. Congratulations Todd Bachman on showing your kids what true love really is…love for your children. Please share so that we can spread kindness throughout!”

What a fantastic, humble and respectful gesture by Brittany’s father. Both men were seen hugging each other after the ceremony. There is truly nothing that can overcome love.
