I guess this is one of the questions that you would always answer with a “yes”. And I’m pretty sure that you’re willing to sacrifice everything when it comes to the welfare of your family.

Just like this 25-year-old Denver woman who brought a family member on her hiking trip.

Her main reason was she couldn’t leave that loved one alone. And that is her puppy.

The dog is not just a pet but a family that’s so dear to her. Imagine, she unhesitatingly took it with her on a strenuous trip so it wouldn’t be alone.

Aside from her beloved pup, she was also with her friends.

They decided to hike at Bridal Veil Falls – which is a well-known hiking spot in Telluride, Colorado.

They were enjoying it until something dangerous happened.

The 3-month old puppy fell 15 feet off from them. It was a nerve-wracking moment for all of them but they didn’t focus on the problem. They immediately thought of a solution. All of them wanted to save the pup as it got stuck on a small ledge.

One of them defied danger by climbing down to the very bottom with a goal to catch the pup just in case it would tumble down from the ledge.

Of course, the dog’s owner didn’t think twice to save her pet. She also climbed down and tried to get the puppy away from its terrifying place.

Unfortunately, she did not succeed, and another problem arose.

The woman lost her grip and balance which caused herself to fall 30 feet down.

It was a good decision that the man went at the bottom as he was able to break her fall. However, both of them slid down.

As they needed more help, the San Miguel County Search and Rescue alongside the Telluride Fire Protection District rescued them immediately.

The teams were able to save them from that danger and safely rushed them to the hospital.

Thankfully, no one got seriously injured. The man got minor injuries but he received immediate medical care.

The pup was also saved by the rescuers.

The San Miguel County Sheriff shared the whole story on Facebook and they introduced the newest rescuer who climbed down with a rope to save the pup. He placed it in a harness and carried him safely.

It’s heartwarming how the dog owner and her friend risked their lives to save a dog. Though their lives were put in danger, some people also did the same thing to save them.

This story just reminds us that there are still kind people in this world. These people are willing to go the extra mile just to save other people and even animals. It’s another story that will restore our faith in humanity.

No wonder why the Facebook post has received numerous comments from other people.

“Nice to see such talent out doing good for the world. Better than what on TV nowadays. Thank you all for being so kind and able to help,” one commenter wrote.
