Some videos just tug at your heartstrings, and this is certainly one of them. The touching moments when this big brother sings to his little brother with down syndrome went viral, and when you see the endearing video you’ll know exactly why.
There’s nothing quite like the bond of siblings!
When this mom caught a video of her young son singing to his baby brother, she had no idea how many people it would touch
Nicole and JJ Powell are the proud parents of 5 healthy and beautiful children, with the newest addition of their family being toddler, Tripp. Tripp was born with Down syndrome, but that has never made a difference to the loving parents and his siblings who all absolutely adore the precious little boy.

“I didn’t want our boys to be ashamed of him,” Nicole told al local news station, she went on to say: “He’s still their little brother regardless of what he has.”
Big brother, Rayce, loved to sing to Tripp when he was a newborn, which led to the viral Facebook post
Back in December of 2019, Nicole Powell, posted a video of her young son, Rayce, cradling and singing to his new baby brother, Tripp, that millions of people were moved by. She captioned the video:
“This is how Rayce bonds with Tripp. He sings to him all the time. He swear this song is about him and his brother. He’s singing, “I’d spend 10,000 hours, and 10,000 more if that’s what it takes to learn that sweet heart of yours. I might never get there but I’m going to try if it’s 10,000 hours or the rest of my life, I’m going to love you.” Love doesn’t count chromosomes, or as Rayce says, “Aren’t we all different?””

It’s clear that Rayce loves his little brother to pieces, and the way Tripp stares back at his big brother with admiration proves that the feeling is mutual.

Rayce just wants Tripp to know how loved he is, and he couldn’t have picked a better song to sing to his baby brother. Thousands of people left comments on the Facebook post, and they were gushing with love for the two young boys.

Two years later, and the bond with Tripp and his siblings has only gotten stronger
Nicole and JJ wanted to share their journey with baby trip while promoting Down syndrome awareness, so they made a Facebook page called TeamTrip where you can get updates on the adorable little guy.
Although Tripp’s much bigger these days, he’s just as cute, and still shares a close bond with his siblings. This is so great to see and thumbs up to Rayce for being an amazing big brother.
