When life throws adversity our way it’s our family and friends that help us get through those tough times.
When Cameron Jaros was diagnosed with acute B cell Burkitt’s leukemia earlier this year, his family, friends, and entire community immediately rallied around him.
“Cameron, being the sweetheart that he is, was more worried about everyone else than what was going on with him,” a GoFundMe page for him reads. “He is ready for the fight that’s ahead of him with the love and support of all of his friends and family, both far and near.”
In addition to putting together a fundraiser for him on GoFundMe that has reached half of its $10,000 goal, his community also got together to put together a charity run and wore t-shirts and wristbands with the hashtag #CamStrong, according to Vindy.com.
Thankfully, Cameron’s cancer treatments were going well. So, to celebrate his family treated him to a Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game on Nov. 5. Cameron was celebrating his very last cancer treatment.
He even brought a sign that read, “My Last Chemo is Thursday, I’m Here to Celebrate! #CamStrong”
When the camera caught a glimpse of Cameron’s sign the entire stadium erupted in a loud cheer. Some even stood up to cheer Cameron on. Cameron even got a giant applause from some of his favorite players including “The King” LeBron James who stopped in the middle of his warmup to salute Cameron.
“Your last chemo treatment is today. It’s time to celebrate! We’re thinking of you and sending strength,” the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Twitter page read.

The overwhelming support from the entire stadium of strangers brought a huge smile to his face and a tear to Cameron’s eye.
“Cameron Jaros this is for you buddy. We are so proud of you. The strength you have shown is, and always will be, a huge inspiration to me. You are my HERO. I love you Cam Bam,” one of his family members wrote on Facebook, according to InspireMore.
In addition to his family, community members, and those at the basketball game, Cameron received well wishes from people all around the world on the Cavaliers’ Twitter page.
“God Love You young Man, your life is Priceless ,Wish you nothing but the best from This day moving forward.”
“Congratulations I hope you stay healthy.”
Just like the rest of the world, we’re wishing that Cameron gets well soon. We know that he has a huge fighting chance with all of the love that surrounds him.
