When 62-year-old Beverlie stepped into The Makeover Guy’s salon, she wasn’t in a very good place. On top of feeling not attractive and older than she really was – she’d spent two years in a state of depression after experiencing a devastating loss.
There was good news though. Beverlie was ready to reclaim her looks, her life, and feel great again! By visiting Christopher Hopkins and his staff, she hoped to be transformed into the happy, beautiful woman she used to be.
But could it be done? Let’s just say they’re unbelievable results you don’t want to miss.
Sometimes a helping hand is needed to regain self-confidence.
Many women who visit Christopher admit that they feel younger on the inside than they look on the outside – and need his help bringing that younger-self to the surface. For Beverlie, besides feeling that her attractive looks had faded, she felt really old too.
“I need to feel beautiful again … I feel like I’m 5,000 years old.”
During her “before” interview, she explained:
“Throughout my life, I’ve always been an attractive woman for whatever age I was at. I’m not. And I need to find a way to be attractive for 62-years-old.”
Life had taken a horrible turn for Beverlie because of a tragic event.
Sadly, two years before, one of Beverlie’s sons passed away. The heartbreak of it all sent her into a downward spiral. Fortunately, she was finally ready to crawl out of the dark place she had been – and calling The Makeover Guy was a step in the right direction.
Many women would give anything to have long hair, but Beverlie was tired of hers. She didn’t think of her long mane as “beautiful.”
It’s always fun to watch Christoper cut off someone’s hair in one big swoop. He does the same for Beverlie and is left holding her long ponytail in his hand. While some might cry seeing something like that, she was happy to be going for a shorter do! Plus, they planned on donating the hair to a charity.

When Beverlie’s look is revealed you might think that a different person is sitting in the chair. She’s absolutely stunning with a new vibrant hair color, shorter style, and a glamorous face of makeup. Not only does Beverlie look much younger, but she also seems happier on the inside as well.
“I’ve basically been in a coma for two-and-a-half years, and I didn’t really see any reason to live. And I was just old and fat and my life had gone to [expletive] – and that’s not what I see today.”
She continued:
“I feel like I couldn’t feel or look any better at my age. I think I look as good as I can look and feel just pretty darn good.”
Beverlie even gets to show off her new look to her daughter-in-law. When the woman walks in, her jaw drops.
She can’t help but exclaim:
“Oh my god, you look amazing!”
The Makeover Guy is known for changing lives with the magic in his hands. Beverlie’s transformation is out of this world and she seems like a completely different person. Hopefully, she has many more bright days ahead.
