For Carlos R. Costa, this time has come. Last May 21, 2020, Carlos posted a video under BeardBrand Alliance showing him shaving off his beard for the first time in ten years.
Okay, so we all know that beards are awesome, right? However, not everyone can grow a beard. Now, if you are very lucky to be able to grow one, it will not be easy.
Growing a beard requires dedication, attention, patience, and a lot of maintenance.
Looking at photos of beard models, you just know that they have taken care of their beards for a long time. It’s something that most men want, yet it’s harder to achieve than it looks.
But did you know that there will be a time where you will want to shave it all off?
“It has been 10 years since I’ve seen my face, and my face has changed. I’m 40 years old now so I’ve aged and I want to see how I look without a beard. Another reason is, man, I want to do it. So, why not? And the other one is that I’ve met my wife 7 years ago and she has never seen me without facial hair, so I want to surprise her and see her react,” said Carlos in his video.
For Carlos, it was time to shave his beard off! He just couldn’t wait to show his new look to his wife and family.
According to him, this will be the first time his wife, Jenna, will see him without his beard! How exciting!
Carlos R. Costa is a familiar face for all those who love beards and fashion. Carlos is one of the top models in the beard industry, no wonder he has more than 196K followers on his Instagram account and thousands on his blog.
Many of his fans didn’t expect that he would actually shave his beard, but there was no turning back.
In his video, he tried to trim it first, and then he tried playing around with different styles before finally shaving everything.
Carlos looks like a different person!
He has not shaved for ten years, and now, he looks ten years younger! No wonder he is so excited to show his new looks to his family.
Carlos then sets up his camera and calls for his wife. Jenna didn’t have an idea as she entered the room.
Jenna was shocked! She couldn’t even go inside the room. The first thing that she did was to take off her sunglasses. She was laughing with disbelief!
Who could blame her? This was the first time that she saw her husband of seven years without his signature beard, and boy was he handsome!
Satisfied with his wife’s reaction, he called his mom too!
Carlos’ mom was very busy that she didn’t even look at the camera. When he asked her to do so, she can’t believe what she was seeing!
All of them were giggling with happiness!
