Let’s face it. Kids are funny.
That innocence paired with their insatiable curiosity does lead them to some of the dumbest, most hilarious moments that people cannot get enough of.
Then there are those times when that charming innocence puts adults to shame.
Speaking of adults, not all of them are nice to kids with some being downright mean. So it only serves them right when a kid puts them in their place.
The young boy below, however, is way smarter as you’ll find.
“Dumbest” kid in the world…
A young boy enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his customer, “This is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch while I prove it to you.”
The barber puts a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls the boy over and asks,
“Which do you want, son?”
The boy takes the quarters and leaves.
“What did I tell you?” said the barber. “That kid never learns!”
Later, when the customer leaves, he sees the same young boy coming out of the ice cream store.
“Hey, son! May I ask you a question? Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar bill?”
The boy licked his cone and replied,
“Because the day I take the dollar, the game is over!”
Whether the boy is being smart or he’s a criminal in the making is your call. Or who knows, he could be the modern day Robin Hood for kids if he shares that money with his pals.
Besides, who doesn’t love ice cream? I’d personally buy ice cream if someone handed me money. Or a drink depending on how my day goes…
That barber’s not as smart as he thinks he is.
To think he’s even willing to show how “dumb” the kid was to his customer.
He met his match with this quarter loving kid though!

Of course there’s Home Alone, then Matilda, even Richie Rich if you’ve seen it.
Kids getting the better of adults are often shown in fantasy-type shows too!
Nothing beats a good joke.
Especially these short story type ones. They are best told around a table full of drinks in the company of friends.
Nothing bonds people together quite like stress and laughter.
Give the kid a pat on the back for outsmarting a smartypants barber.
He made it a game all for ice cream and who knows what else he’s up to.
And while tricking someone into giving you money over and over again is wrong, it’s just way different when it’s an adult picking on a kid.
