What would it look like if humans ran like other creatures?

Would we look cute? Stupid? Cute and stupid? That’s the question that content creator Daniel LaBelle sheds light on.

LaBelle has posted content on his YouTube channel as far back as six years ago, but constant videos started churning in just last year after his TikTok videos began gaining traction. His TikTok account alone has over 22 million followers and the total likes he’s received from his vids almost reach 500 million.

What do people love so much about his content?

LaBelle plays on humor with physical stunts, akin to a more agile version of slapstick, and turns his movements into relatable comedy. His videos are usually short but leave you in stitches for a long time.

In a recent TikTok video, he turned cleaning into a competitive timed sport with smart moves to cover more ground in less time. He also showed hilarious ways to interact with household items just so he wouldn’t have to take his hands off his newest phone. There’s also a thrilling cat and mouse chase between a homeowner and a burglar.

On YouTube, however, LaBelle created a funny video showing how animals would run if they’d been transformed into humans.

The video starts with a duck. Have you ever seen someone sprint and waddle at the same time? LaBelle hilariously shows how it’s done.

The video just steamrolls from there, listing one animal after another.

He even manages to sneak subtle details as he stops his full horse canter.

Cheetahs are easy to imitate. That is if you’re physically fit enough to sprint like LaBelle. Sloths? Equally as easy if you put yourself in super slow motion. Or if you’re LaBelle, walk extremely and excruciatingly slow. Almost like a movie on pause. Until a passerby says hello.

How would deer run? We know how that goes, and most probably how it ends. Caught in the headlights, of course. LaBelle hilariously sprints across the road, stops dead at the most convenient spot on the busy asphalt.

We hope you stepped on your breaks faster than he could jump, though.

Get ready for a chaotic chicken run, a full-on kangaroo “gallop”, and a pretty indecisive squirrel that lunges in, steps back, lunges in again, steps back, and lunges in once more before he finally decides to walk forward.

His antics are flawlessly executed and are impossible not to laugh at.

In less than a week, his barely-minute-long video has been viewed over 7 million times. His audience expressed their admiration and appreciation for his content, with one of them saying:

“Ah, the majestic Daniel in his natural habitat. What a beautiful animal.”

To what this guy will come up next is anyone’s guess but we hope he keeps the videos coming. In the meantime, you can check out his YouTube channel and TikTok account for more entertaining content.
