Many of the best things in life happen by accident, and these accidental camouflage moments prove it. This online Reddit group accepts pictures of moments when someone, thing, or pet, blends in without even trying, and it is hilarious.

1. Who needs legs when you can float?
At first glance, it looks like this girl has no legs but when you look a little closer you’ll find them blending in.
2. Floating eyes
This cat probably has no idea that he actually blends in with the futon, but their shades of black match almost perfectly. Don’t mind me, just a pair of floating eyes.
3. Hidden owl
Leave it up to nature to make the coolest camouflage, I guess that’s because it’s vital to many animals survival. Which is why owls can blend into a tree with out even trying!
4. Is that a shadow? Guess again
This is a black cat standing by a white cat in the exact same position, but when your first look at the picture it looks like the black one is just a shadow. That’s a great way to hide when this kitty is in trouble.
5. Wait a minute, is that a cat?
This one took me a while to find, probably because this cat looks exactly like this marble floor. Did they do this on purpose? Probably not, I bet sometimes they can’t even find their cat because of this.
6. Camouflage shirt
This guy went out on the town wearing a shirt with roses on it, I bet he never thought it would make his camouflage. Right up until the moment he saw these rose bushes that is.
7. What a great painting, oh wait, that’s dad
This Christmas family portrait got a lot more interesting after their dad accidentally blended into a painting hanging on the wall. That is seriously hilarious.
8. “invisible Man in the suit”
I don’t think when he put on his socks in the morning he was thinking about matching the floor, but even so, his socks match it so good it looks like he’s invisible. Now you just need some pants like that, and you’ll be a pair of floating feet.

This one is crazy, I’m still not totally convinced there is a sweatshirt on that bed. Then again, if you look really, really close, you can kind of make out the outline of it.

10. Starbucks cups are on another level
At first glance, this Starbucks coffee cup looks like it’s either blasting off, or someone got an amazing action shot of one flying through the air and spilling everything inside.
11. Umm, that carpet’s eating his head
When this guy showed up to his hotel room, he noticed that his scarf was a spitting image to the carpet in his room. Thanks to his awesome imagination, we got this camouflage gem.
12. Is that a plate on that coffee mug?
The color of this mug is the same exact color as his milk and coffee mixture, making it look like the most pointless mug ever with nowhere to put any liquid. Either that, or it just looks like a plate on top of a coffee mug.
13. Someone’s going to sit on him if he’s not careful
I wonder if this man knew he was going to match the pattern on all these chairs, maybe he was just trying to blend in. If he didn’t do this on purpose, that’s a really crazy coincidence.

Here’s another cat who perfectly blended into his owner’s marble floor, only this time it’s black and gold. Lucky for us he’s looking up, or we might not be able to find him.

When he bought this pair of pants, I bet he wasn’t thinking “these match my floor great. Either way, they are darn near identical to the tile floor in his house and made for one awesome accidental camouflage.

Who would have thought a tortilla would blend in with a marble counter? Nobody probably, but even still, the two are a perfect match. I just hope he found it before he used another one for dinner.

This man went to Disney with a tie-dye shirt on and found the family he is actually supposed to belong to. Hopefully, he didn’t leave his family thinking this was meant to be, it’s tie-dye for crying out loud.

Who would have thought coffee could do such a good job blending in? This is the second one we’ve come across, maybe the coffee just doesn’t want anyone drinking it.

Technically, this one isn’t really an accident, but it’s still downright incredible. With these two camouflages into the tree like this, bigger prey will walk right by without ever even seeing them.

This one took me forever to find, but eventually, I spotted the cell phone hidden in this carpet. If you’re having trouble finding it, the only clue I’ll give you is to look for the change in the flower pattern.

This one isn’t really camouflaged, but it’s still pretty hilarious. This girl showed up at her brother’s house looking elegant and fashionable, only to realize she was matching his couch to a tee.

Holy cow, it’s a random head floating out of the sea. No wait, it’s just one of their co-workers who decided to wear a shirt that looks exactly like the ocean. That’s crazy, even the black lines in the shirt make it look like the ripples in the waves.

This pooch accidentally camouflaged into the snow, luckily for his eyes and nose we are able to see him staring back at us. “Here boy,” wait, where did you go?
28. Frog on the menu
Somehow a tiny frog got into this sandwich, and lucky for the person eating it they didn’t bite his head off, that would be seriously traumatizing. I’m just wondering how on earth they got halfway through the sandwich before noticing?

When you first look at this one, it looks like someone riding up an escalator with bare feet which would be both gross, and extremely dangerous. Look a little bit closer, you’ll see the flip flops camouflaging into it.
30. The worlds most uncomfortable chair
This guy looks like he’s sitting in a chair with no back to it, which would be super uncomfortable on your back. In reality, he’s just wearing a polka-dot shirt that happens to match the chair upholstery perfectly.

Here’s another cat who accidentally blended in with its favorite blanket, and the colors are exactly the same. In that household, you better just make sure to look before you sit or you might get come kitty claws.

This is the first time I’ve seen someone get a gift for Christmas that actually matches their shirt, and I’d have to say, that’s pretty cool. Judging by her annoyed smirk, I’m thinking she’s not liking the way the wrapping paper is stealing her thunder.

The tissue box in this bathroom looks like it’s completely translucent, but in reality, it’s just a mirror on all sides and placed in the perfect place to camouflage it. I need one of these, it adds some serious flair to your bathroom.

36. Watch your step, our dog camouflages with the floor
With your dog camouflaged to your carpet like this it would be hard not to step on him, but he seems to love that spot anyway. This dog has probably been accidentally kicked more times than he can count.
37. Another case of “I lost my glasses”
This person dropped their glasses into a pile of chords and they ended up blending right in with them. Now, this is the true definition of a completely accidental camouflage moment.

When this person went to call his husky back in the side, it probably took them a second to find him. Being a husky though, you should have known to look right at the snow first. He loves the cold so much, I love how he’s just relaxing on the last pile of snow in the yard.

This parakeet is camouflaged with his owner’s avocados, but he better watch out, they might accidentally eat him. I’m sure they’d stop when they had a mouth full of feathers, but if they were as drunk as the girl who thought she lost her feet in her boyfriend’s bathroom, he’d be in trouble.

When this tourist was taking pictures in Greece, he came across a cat that was camouflaged into a wall so good that he looks invisible. That’s awesome, he can hide in plain sight just waiting for some mice to run by.

While one girl is just working on her laptop and minding her own business, the students behind her are having their minds blown by the striped coffee that seems to have disappeared into her shirt. That is some serious camouflage!

This remote camouflaged into this extension cord box so perfectly, people were begging him to post it in the accidental camouflage thread on Reddit. It actually looks was built into it, who knows, maybe it belongs there.

“Lost my wallet, for 3 days, wifey found it by accident.” Although it does camouflage into the chair well, 3 days seems like a really long time not to find it in that spot. What would you do without tour wifey?

When they bought this pan, I’m sure they didn’t think about the fact that it would literally disappear into the counter. How are you going to cook if you can’t even find the pan? Who knows, beats me.

Being that people actually do lose appendages to escalators, this one is a little spooky at first glance. Who knew escalators could camouflage things so well? Not me, but clearly they can.

This guy was searching for his cat for so long, he actually thought he had escaped but that wasn’t the case. He was actually just snuggled up in his computer chair and completely camouflaged into the black seat.

When this lady put on her fancy sweatshirt, the last thing she thought was that she would actually be wearing camouflage. That is until shit sat down in this chair, pretty much disappearing right into it.

Here’s another lady that looks like she’s floating without legs, but it’s actually a tan skirt that matches the floor perfectly. I don’t think anyone is ready for technology to get to the point of hovering legless people, but maybe one day.

It’s not every day you walk into the gym and realize your feet camouflage into the floor, but that’s exactly what happened to this guy. Just don’t look at your feet while your lifting, you might get distracted and drop a weight on your toes.
50. What straw?
We all know how frustrating it can be to not be able to find something you need, especially when it’s for something as essential as your morning coffee! I think it might be time for a new straw, one that’s not see-through.
