Genius. Billionaire. Playboy. Philanthropist.

Tony Stark is more than just a wealthy and genius inventor of high-tech solutions because his quick wit and tongue are matched by his high-flying abilities as the hero called Iron Man. After being captured by terrorists who use his weapons to terrorize civilians, Tony and Ho Yinsen developed the first Iron Man suit, which Stark used to escape his captors.

After his escape, Tony develops a new suit with additional weapons and other technological devices. He uses the suit and other versions to protect the world as Iron Man. He may have used it first to conceal his identity, Tony eventually publicly reveals himself to be Iron Man.
