An 8-year-old boy from Milledgeville, Georgia, saw an elderly woman who was having a hard time climbing a flight of stairs, even though she was already using her walker.

The little boy noticed that no one was trying to help the old woman, even though there were so many people around. This prompted little Maurice Adams, Jr. to ask his mom to stop the car.

He asked her if they can stop for a while so he could help the old woman, and his mother quickly parked their car. Maurice jumped out of the car and ran to the old woman.

Maurice’s mom definitely felt proud as she saw her son helping the elderly lady. No one told him to do it. He just wanted to help the old lady climb the stairs.

A quote from Scott Adams says, Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.

Any act of kindness would be appreciated, and we should never doubt ourselves when we want to do something for someone.
