High school is hard. It’s four years of navigating your way through social circles and trying to get good grades all while going through puberty and dealing with other sassy, pubescent teenagers. It’s rough.
But, these high schoolers are making the best of their time through these awkward years and they have the sense of humor to prove it. They’ve left their mark in the yearbook by creating and sharing quotes that will have us laughing for tears to come.
We see bright futures for these hilarious teens. Check out some of the most share-worthy and hilarious yearbook quotes.
1) Ghufran’s headscarf humor
Ghufran seems like she’s a chick you want to hang out with–she knows how to crack and a joke, that’s for sure. Given that she wears a headscarf for religious purposes, her haircut quote is absolutely priceless.
2) This was what high school was like for many people
We feel for Randey Chung, we really do. We do applaud him for having a sense of humor about these hellish years, though. His quote is absolutely hysterical but in a sad kind of way.
3) It’s a popular name, okay?
Nguyen is a popular name in the Vietnamese culture. And we mean
very popular. Alice, Kim, Theresa, and Vivian wanted to make it clear to everyone (for probably the millionth time) that they are
not related.
Aren’t twins awesome? It’s so cool that they look alike, sound alike, and sometimes even think alike. But just like all siblings, there’s always a bit of rivalry. The Rowell twins made us laugh out loud with their yearbook quote.
Those sketchy, weird emails you’ve been getting from a Nigerian prince asking for money? Well, turns out, it’s been Segun Akigbogun all along. We appreciate your honesty Segun, now stop with the emails.
6) Yes, that would make it hard
Do we see a career in stand-up comedy for Zachary Chastain? It certainly appears that way. We have no idea why he chose this for his yearbook quote, but we can definitely say that we’re happy he did.
Yunosuke likes to look at the bright side of life and we appreciate people like that. Not only is his yearbook quote optimistic, but it’s absolutely hilarious.
8) I see what you did there
Max Crankshaw is confident and comfortable with his sexuality and his sense of humor is on point too. We’re guessing all of his friends and family already knew he was gay. If not, this would be quite the ‘coming out’ moment.
9) To clear it up for everyone
Poor Joe. How many times have people asked him if he has a farm just because his last name is McDonald? We can’t even imagine all the fast food jokes either. Well, at least it’s now permanently in the yearbook so everyone can stop asking.
Griffin might have disappointed his mom a bit with this one but it has the rest of us dying from laughter. We don’t know why he had a strange lumberjack photo shoot, and we don’t know why he chose it for the yearbook. But he did, and he used his mom’s quote against it, and we love it.
Apparently the Henderson parents got a giant surprise when they found out they were having twins. But, chin up, Rebecca–we’re sure your parents love you very much.
12) But she snuck it in anyway
Xenia’s a big fan of fries. A really big fan. In fact, she puts fries before guys and she wanted to share that with her classmates. However, her dad advised against it. So–she just quoted him instead.
Jessica Enciso has her head on straight. And let’s face it–who doesn’t love a good night’s sleep? That’s way better than awkward dates or messy relationships. Your pillow will never let you down.

Hey! Three out of three of these parents’ triplets are graduating high school–those are some great stats. They thought they’d have a little fun with their yearbook quote and it’s corny but adorable.

If you were given an African name, you know the dread that comes with roll call or any public name announcement. People
never get it right. Agboke knows these struggles all too well and decided to speak on behalf of every African kid for her yearbook quote.
Paige really rocked the yearbook quote world when she had the idea to ask if she could use emojis in her yearbook quote. Okay, so she really didn’t make it a “quote” so much as a way to brag that she did it–but we like it!

Amith’s confidence is off the charts. I mean, look at that mustache. Plus, that tuxedo? And he plays the bongos?! Seriously, what can’t Amith do?
Makenzie seems like the kind of friend you want to have. She’s funny, she seems like she knows how to have a good time, and she loves food! What more could you ask for? The fact that this is her yearbook quote is just the icing on the cake.
25) Wise words from Mitchell
Mitchell’s got life figured out and he also has a little nugget of wisdom for everyone. He wholeheartedly believes that everyone should just be themselves. Well, of course…unless you suck.
26) What a disappointment
Why Seth thought that real high school would be like High School Musical, we don’t know. And if someone told him that it was, well he was sorely disappointed I’m sure. Real high school has a lot less singing and a lot less Zac Efron.
27) Barry Ponder thought about his future
Barry should really get an award for this one. Not only is his quote absolutely hilarious, but it will be even more hilarious down the line when he’s actually able to show his kids! Oh, it’s just too good.

Faizon clearly thought of high school as some sort of punishment. And although we know (hopefully) that high school isn’t as bad as prison, it sure does feel good to be finished! Look at that bright future ahead!
The Hill twins probably thought that they’d have their photos next to each other in the yearbook, I mean, what are the chances that someone else with the last name Hill would have a first name that starts with ‘I’? Damn it, Ilijah.
Here’s another school that seemed to have their fair share of Nguyens. Their collective quote is absolutely perfect. “We know what you’re thinking and no, we’re not related.”
This high school senior wants to let others know that looking pretty on the outside really doesn’t matter. It’s what’s on the inside. But then she starts talking about eating makeup and it’s so strange we can’t help but laugh.
I’m pretty sure everyone on the planet can get behind Matthew’s request. If he ever decides to enter politics, this should definitely be his platform. More Fridays and pancakes? Yes, please!
Given that all humans are made up of 72% water, Alexandra has made a fine point. And who doesn’t like water? The problem is, it’s the other 28% that you have to be concerned about.
Sean must have had a conversation with Stephanie about yearbook quotes, knowing that his photo would come right before hers. Looks like the world has come to a dark state after all.

The person in charge of collecting the senior quotes asked Connor for his. Clearly, Connor didn’t care at all and just told them to make something up. But, instead, they literally quoted what he said–amazing.

We love when the students whose pictures are going to be side by side work together to come up with epic quotes. Here’s another time when two students decided to give quotes that would make everyone laugh.
For those of us that wear makeup, we’d have to wholeheartedly agree. There are some days when you’re all made-up, looking flawless, feeling fierce, only to have the entire day go to crumbles. We feel you, girl.
We all have to come to terms with the reality that we’ll never become Queen Bey. As much as we hope, pray, and dream–there’s only one Beyonce. At least this high school senior was able to distract herself from this sad fact.

This clever teen came to the realization that everyone in his class is around the same age, which means that all of their parents decided pro-create around the same time, which apparently completely tripped Ryley out. Far out, dude.
This high school senior had it all planned out. His senior photos were going to be of him Frosted Flakes all so that it would tie in with his perfectly thought-out senior quote. All we know is that he has fantastic hair.

Any yearbook quote that begins talking about eagles is going to be pretty memorable, right? Well, Samuel made sure that people would remember his quote. According to him, being a weasel is a “safer” option that aiming for the clouds.

Robert Brown didn’t have a lot of faith in his classmates, apparently. But at the same token, everyone pleasantly surprised him. So, it seems like a win for everyone?
This girl has a serious stance on whether or not pineapple belongs on pizza and let’s just say–it ain’t good. Everyone should keep their distance if they ever plan on eating pizza with this girl. God forbid she ever sees one pineapple chunk.

We admire Jeromy’s wishes to become a smokey eye shadow pallet but we have just one question. Who would be the one wearing it? Maybe he could have a Limited Edition line for just his close friends and family…who want to wear smokey eye shadow.

Beau Stancil went to his mom for some advice on what he should quote in the yearbook. She gave him some advice, and instead of running with that piece of advice, he just quoted it instead. We all got a good laugh, though.
