No one is perfect. Sometimes we struggle at our jobs and that is simply part of being human. Heck, even machines mess up! It’s not the end of the world, but it could be pretty funny sometimes.
We’ve decided to round up some of the funniest fail photos, where someone had one job and well, failed. One person’s failure can be another person’s entertainment!
1.) These people forgot to move the cone
Although, we’re thinking “forgot” isn’t the correct word. The lawn mowers were probably just too lazy to move the cone for one second. They just mowed the grass around it for the past month.
Imagine someone is relaxing on the bench and after a little bit of rain – they’re drenched! Either the person who installed the drain didn’t think this through or the person that installed the bench didn’t think this through.
They’re definitely not called bananas or anything. Does the person who printed these labels out really not know what bananas are?
4.) This water makes me feel loopy
I mean, maybe Jesus made an appearance in the water section of this grocery store? All we know is that this is definitely not water. Someone might want to find the correct signage.
5.) Way to make a useful thing useless
Looks like the drain in this park was placed at a higher level than the ground it’s on. Of course, this entirely defeats the purpose of the drain in the first place. In fact,
zero water is going into that drain.
6.) Pretty sure that’s definitely not Asia
How this shirt made it to production without getting double-checked first is beyond me. But, it’s safe to say that whoever designed the shirt was either trying to be funny or has never been to either Asia or Africa.
Rules? Who cares about rules? These boxes look like they should stack, so despite the text on the side of the box, they’re going to be stacked. Hope whoever paid for those doesn’t see this.
8.) Congrats, you won 3st place!
We’re not sure what 3st place is. Is it like third place but now you’re really thirsty? Either way, it’s an accomplishment. But whoever printed these medals should have had a second set of eyes take a peek as well.
9.) Who really needs to open their drawers anyway?
This design could be looked at as innovative… If you close both of your eyes. Just make sure nothing gets lost toward the back, you’ll never be able to get it out again.
10.) No, job NOT well done
Oh, the irony here is just too good. Whoever was in charge of putting fortunes in cookies certainly did
not do a job well done. Plus, they completely took the fun out of the cookie now.
11.) We wonder what forks are like
Or what about the knives? Because we’ve never seen a spoon quite like this.
12.) Something looks…off…
Somehow, some way, these two graphics got switched around and no one seemed to notice. Her bottom half is where her top half should be and vice versa. How could you not notice?!
It’s nice that they’re encouraging drivers to give cyclists space and to be more aware but they seemed to have missed their own point. Their sign is clearly blocking the bike lane.
14.) Hey editor, you had one job
Or should say you had one dwsijidj eidjwih. As an editor for what looks like a professional publication–they failed terribly at their job. It’s not like it’s a misspelled word or two–it’s literally a bunch of jibberish!
15.) There is quite literally a fork in the road
It appears that someone noticed the now-yellow fork and decided to pick it up. Leaving a very funny and literally design of the well-known saying. We actually appreciate this work fail.
16.) Sitting down is difficult
This is like a woman’s worst nightmare. The seat is now installed so that it has to be up forever! Only the lid can go down which makes this installation so very frustrating.
17.) Happy Valentine’s Day
*Ahem* was this grocery store trying to send an X-rated message to their customers or did they just really miss the Valentine’s Day signage on this one? Because nothing says Happy Valentine’s Day like…zucchinis?
We suggest you walk up very slowly to the door to see if it happens to swing open for you. If not, try the one next to it. How has someone not fixed this super confusing door by now?
19.) But… where are you supposed to go?
An escalator to nowhere. Deep. It looks like the building is under some sort of construction, possibly? Either way, they didn’t seem to consider that there was going to be a bit of a pile up.
How is this even possible? Looks like quite a bit of rain hit this neighborhood and it also looks like about 95% of the rain collected in the yard and not the giant empty pool.
For some people this might be considered a meal. No judgment. But for most people? They’re probably looking for something with a bit more nutrition and sustenance.
22.) Up next, The Grateful PENS!
And then LEAD Zeppelin! Oh, the puns can go on and on here if we wanted. But, we’ll spare you. We do find it odd that the person making labels didn’t compare their spelling to what was on the actual disc.
23.) That doesn’t look like ice
Should we put our ice in popcorn bags now? On the bright side–this is much easier to carry than a bag of actual ice.
24.) The balcony for no one
You ALMOST had a balcony. Almost. But now–it’s like a mean joke played on all the residents. They were probably so excited when they saw that balconies were going to be installed, only to be very, very disappointed.
Why, Heinz?! Why?! Did they make the labels like this just to infuriate people at BBQs? And even if you re-stuck the label the other way, the shape wouldn’t match up! So frustrating.
Let’s just hope that 1.) no one was inside and 2.) this person has really good car insurance or the business has really good liability insurance. This would be a major bummer.
27.) Ever get locked inside of your own home?
This is like a scene straight out of a funny movie. Maybe the UPS driver tried knocking but no one answered? They probably thought they were putting the package in just the ‘right spot’ too.
28.) The sign says “Stop”
Not really a ‘job fail’ so much as it was the driver’s one and only job to pay attention to lawful signs. Clearly they chose to ‘go’ instead of ‘stop.’
Don’t look if you only like visually-satisfying things because it will make your brain want to explode. The worker who put back these slabs is clearly a psychopath.
30.) The dog started to puke mid-Christmas card photoshoot
Also not exactly a job fail, we just thought this was funny. The fact that the photographer continued to shoot while the family was in total disgust is a ‘job win’ if you as us. Priceless.
31.) Not the best type of encouragement
We appreciate the fact that a bar has to make money but encouraging people to disregard their sobriety? Not so cool.
32.) We think you forgot to get rid of the bricks first
What exactly happened here? We’re not entirely sure of that but we are sure that whoever was in charge of moving those cinderblocks is in some serious trouble.
33.) Would you trust this doctor’s office?
Looks like no one there can follow directions! All they asked is that the door be kept closed. Is it really that hard? Apparently it was enough of an issue to make a sign and people
still can’t seem to figure it out.
It’s not a bikini–it’s most definitely a one-piece but hey, we could be nitpicking now. Still, it’s incorrect.
35.) Spaghetti and meatballs, anyone?
Or maybe just meatballs and broken glass? Also not sure what happened in this scenario but someone definitely failed at something.
Okay, now this one is just straight up hilarious. Spunow? It looks like they were holding the Mounds bar upside down when they were typing the sign. Guess they’d never had this delcious coconut and chocolate treat before.
Apostrophes, people! Know when to use them! The person typing this sign clearly did not. They meant for it to be plural but instead made it possessive of just one winner.
38.) Can you look closely and find this hidden fail?
The bridge cables are crossed! Other than this one very frustrating flaw, the graphic is actually quite nice. But now you won’t be able to look at anything else.
You’d think the tattoo artist would have noticed this one! But sadly, so many people don’t know the difference between “their,” “there,” and “they’re.”
But not too big, because you probably can’t put a hot tub in the sky. The guy who’s filming on the roof captured some pretty great footage of this epic fail.
41.) This looked okay to them?
Someone must have been sidetracked when they were sewing on these eyes because…wow. Looks like the stuffed lion on the right isn’t feeling so well.
42.) Now it’s ultra messy
Everyone likes the bottom of the cone where all the chocolate has settled, but this? This is just asinine! Somehow this cone got flipped upside down. Now, there’s no chocolate on the ice cream, only on the cone where your hand would hold it.
The text on these buttons doesn’t match the directions and it’s absolutely maddening. Which one is correct? The button or the text?
I mean, come on. If they weren’t entirely sure, couldn’t they have at least Googled it? Now, some kid is going to be walking around with a backpack that confuses everyone and frustrates comic fans to no end.
45.) This makes things a bit frustrating
The lid was placed on the wrong side which makes this liquid not only harder to pour, but now it won’t re-seal shut. Talk about a frustrating purchase.
46.) Really, Taco Bell? Really?
Okay, whoever was on tacos during this shift at Taco Bell needs some serious re-training or needs to be fired. One of the two. Their only job was to place toppings inside a shell and they missed the shell entirely.
47.) Inciting violence is not cool
We’re not sure if colored markers and notebooks are on the other side of the display, but from this side? Things are looking pretty darn sinister. Someone should probably re-think the placement of the knives.
48.) This has to be something personal, right?
There’s no way that whoever was painting these stripes ‘accidentally’ did this, right? It’s just so incredibly ridiculous that someone would have to be out of their minds. We’re assuming it was a cruel joke on the car owner.
49.) Someone didn’t think this through
It appears that whoever installed this door handle did so when the door was open. They clearly didn’t realize that it would be very difficult when it came time to close it.
I mean, if you didn’t know any better, you’d think nothing was wrong with the cover of this Blu-ray disc. But, of course, we know better. No one seemed to proofread or edit this cover before it hit production.
Talk about false advertising. Not only are they boasting that this “rugged mobile phone” floats on water, but they are silly enough to demonstrate that it, in fact, does not. We’re guessing sales are low on this one.
Was the person installing this railing on planet earth when they were doing it? Because it looks like their brain was in outer space. They seem to have failed to notice the fact that the railing is completely blocking the walkway.
53.) What are we teaching the kids?
The photo on the packaging is correct, but the actual product? Not so much. That’s most definitely a cockroach or beetle of some sort. Still can’t believe no one double-checked these before they were sent to stores.
54.) So many confusing things happening here
Alright, that’s clearly not Teresa Kennedy. Wait, I guess it’s Ben Kisila. Why did they use his photo twice? What happened to Teresa’s photo? My head hurts just looking at this.
55.) It’s such a simple four letter word
It looks like whoever painted this “stop” lettering was in a serious rush to get home that day. They failed to notice that they spelled this very simple word wrong. How long is it going to stay like that?
