Hey, it happens. And we just happened to find 30 examples that will probably make you feel lucky not to be these folks.
The woman had no idea why the other passengers on the bus were laughing at her. She thought she was pretty stylish with her pen in her hair. Little did she know, but it was scribbling all over the back of her neck.
It must have been this woman’s first-ever baseball game. She was caught by some of the fans looking up hilarious questions about the game online. She had no idea what was going on, but smartphones can be a lifesaver.
This little girl’s nickname is Lizard. However, when the cake was delivered for her birthday celebration, the family immediately noticed that there was a pretty significant error. The pastry chef wrote “Loser” on it instead of Lizard.
Is there anything more awkward than running out of TP? It’s even bad when you’re in your own home. So imagine how much worse it feels at a friend’s house.
Dating can be really awkward, especially when you’re a preteen. Getting asked out is often either a joyous moment or really distressing, depending on who the suitor is. There is never a good way to reject someone.
“I went to class today really thinking I had grabbed my computer off the kitchen counter,” jokes the woman. She’s laughing now. However, it wasn’t funny when she was sitting in class with her cutting board instead of her computer.
He must feel so silly now. After all of that time spent looking around the house, his iPad was right there sitting next to him the whole time. He had no idea.
We wonder if he follows her on Twitter too. That could lead to an even more awkward visit the next time. It’s a great reminder that it’s best to keep most social media accounts private.
Google Maps showed that there was a park nearby and they wanted to go hang out there. Unfortunately, when they arrived, they realized that it was the smallest park in the world. It only had one tiny green area.
10. Disappearing class notes
The student was trying out some new erasable pens they bought for taking notes. The pen ink can be erased by heat made from friction. It turns out though, if you leave the notebook in the sun the ink will get hot enough to disappear as well.
This guy was really upset to find that he had been turned into a meme about slapping people’s moms. It made him angry enough to vent on social media about it. He made it very clear that there would be no slapping involved though, ever. He’s a mamma’s boy.
Taking the perfect photo is hard. It’s especially true if you have pesky pigeons to deal with. The curious birds will always find a way to ruin the shot.
This woman was so excited to get her new mouse in the mail. She couldn’t wait to open it and put it to good use. Although, in her hurry, she ended up making a costly mistake.
Kids are often funny without even realizing it. They are so naive and innocent. Their silly questions and actions never fail to amuse their parents.
Sometimes, the things we lose are in the places that we least expect them to be. It can make us look pretty foolish in the end. There are so many places to look, and no one ever checks the most obvious first.
Not only are X-rays revealing of everything inside your body, but they also reveal what you keep underneath your clothes. That’s what this woman found out. Her mom saw the image and immediately knew.
17. Important clarification
The Manchester City Center put out an emergency notice on their Twitter letting people know about an awkward crime taking place in the area. Although, with their clarification, they made it even more awkward.
18. Awkward confrontation
This three-year-old child went up and told a man at McDonald’s that his pants were falling down. We can only imagine the awkwardness the ensued afterward. If you are a parent, you are probably squirming in your seat right now.
There are some names that are just really similar. There is no denying it. You have to be really careful about which name you are referring to, especially when an entire party depends on getting it correct.
We’ve all had moments when we couldn’t think of the correct word when we needed it. It often results in some really goofy situations. Sometimes, you have to invent new species in order to get your point across.
Lemons are not something that normally requires packaging. Yet, this supermarket jams their lemons into plastic cups. It’s completely unnecessary and only serves to confuse people.
This man’s shoe popped off right as the door of the subway was closing. It left him stranded out in the station hopping around on one foot. He is going to have to walk home in his socks now.
When the criminal took running off from the cops, he thought he could easily get away. He made a big mistake though, as you’ll see when you read the officer’s hilarious Facebook post. The criminal was caught red-handed.

How does a bathroom tile get a paw print on it? We aren’t entirely sure. However, it seems that someone in the family certainly has some explaining to do!
This man’s little rubber friend turned to goo on his dashboard. It’s something that you would never expect to happen. At least he didn’t give it as a gift to someone he loved though. That would have been even more awkward!
26. Gym class conversation
Uncomfortable situations are best defused with humor. Although, you have to really watch your words. There are some people that just don’t appreciate it if you joke around with them.
27. Passwords & underwear
It’s pretty funny that the University put this embarrassing advertisement out in public. Imagine touring the university as a prospective student with your parents. You just know that your mom and dad would make a joke about it.
This woman found a gray hair in her new wig! If you buy a wig, it’s because you want to look stunning. However, the stray hair made it really obvious that it wasn’t her natural hair.
“I’m off to college. My mom handed me this and told me this is the only cup I can drink beer/alcohol out of,” explains the man. It’s exactly the sort of conversation that most young adults try to avoid having with their parents. We have to give the mom props on her humorous approach though.
Have you ever been walking down the street and suddenly felt like you were being watched. It’s not a good feeling, but in some neighborhoods, it’s totally justified. You never know what’s going to be staring at you through the windows.
