Have you ever had something so precious, something that’s so important not only for you but for your family? Now, imagine it being taken away from you by someone. It’s heartbreaking, isn’t it? If thinking about that scary thought already sinks you in a sea of fear, then think about it actually happening to someone in real life.

Unfortunately, this is what exactly happened to a Nebraska-based farmer.

Thankfully, this is not a one-sided tragic story, but an inspiring one.

200 farmers showed up to rescue them from this dilemma and helped out the young man. An absolute act of kindness that their family will never ever forget.

The farmer’s name is David and he’s been farming his entire life.

Actually, it’s not only him but his entire family as well. They’ve been doing it for decades, unfortunately, one day, an ancestor decided to sell the 80-acre farmland which broke their hearts into smithereens.

They were all devastated and they felt nothing but defeat on that day.

A man on a mission.

David didn’t give up easily, he knew that they needed to do something to put the farm back to their possession. Eventually, the land was put up for sale in an auction so they promised to save up as much money as they could in order to buy the farm that’s taken away from them.

When the day of the auction finally arrived, David and his father were shocked to see the number of fellow farmers who showed up. Two-hundred farmers showed up, to be exact. They thought there was no way that they would be able to pull this off — there was no way they could outbid that many farmers!

Luckily, everyone else was on their side.

The other farmers at the auction actually surprised them and ended up doing something pretty selfless and incredible.

When the moment finally came, David and his father placed their bid. Then… crickets. No other farmer spoke up or tried to outbid them. All two-hundred of the farmers were staying clear out of their way — it was something they were not expecting to see at all.

A plan well executed.

All of the farmers who attended the auction actually had the same wish as David, and that’s for them to have their farm back. It sure was an unconditional act of kindness if it so happened that some of them actually have the ability to bid higher.

But no one did, and David couldn’t be happier with what was happening.

They were definitely being tested, too. The auctioneer desperately tried to get bids from other people but they did not budge. Instead, they stayed silent and gave David and his father all the room they needed to win.

Because of this, eventually, the auctioneer gave the two farmers the winning bid. He slammed the gavel down and the deed was done. Once again, the farm was theirs and no one else’s. It was back in their hands and fully in their control.

It may be hard to believe but this story actually happened and it simply shows that humanity is still existing.

And is it bad to believe that? Yes, our faith is being tested almost every day but that’s life and all we need to do is believe that eventually, things will get better. Just always remember that behind the dark clouds, the sun is always shining.
