In school, kids are encouraged to overcome shyness and learn to face people confidently.
Aside from the academics that happen inside the classroom, there are other activities that students can be a part of. These can develop their self-esteem and provide them exposure to a bigger crowd.
There are clubs or sports that they can join – a book club, piano club, soccer club and countless others. These activities help improve their skills and allow them to socialize with peers other than their classmates.
At times, they can participate in talent shows and showcase those extraordinary talents they have.
Whatever talent they want to share that may wow spectators is welcome. It can be dancing, singing, performing magic tricks, and many more.
Bella Capri is only 12 years old in this video, and she has managed to show her talent to a massive crowd in her school. She joins the Junior High Talent Show. In the event, the entire school is present to witness her performance.
Upon approaching the microphone that is in front of the big audience, she feels a little shy. But, this is her moment. She sings the first few stanzas of “Titanium,” a song by David Guetta featuring Sia.
“You shout it out, but I can’t hear a word you say…”
The crowd is in silence, watching her perform and listen to her beautiful voice. It is undeniable that this girl possesses a fantastic singing talent.
As she sings a few more lines of the song to the chorus, Bella feels more confident. One girl in the crowd listens to her intently, and she feels proud of the performer.
“Ricochet, you take your aim,
Fire away, fire away.
You shoot me down, but I won’t fall.
I am titanium.”
Bella has picked a wonderful song for her performance.
This music has a powerful meaning. It encourages individuals to be strong even if the world is not kind, even if it throws all the worse things that can make you weak. Although difficult-to-handle-and-comprehend situations take place, one must not fall and continue to stand firm.
Nobody is immune to stage fright. But as one gradually pushes herself to go out of the box and do more, one can develop confidence. And this is what Bella Capri has done. She has shared her talent not only with her school; but also with those who have seen the video of her performance.
Bella exits with a huge smile on her face.
She has conquered her fear, and most of all, she has given her best during the talent show. For sure, she has inspired all the others to share their talent in ways they can.
We are not sure what prize she has won during the show but being able to perform in front of so many people is already a massive achievement itself. It is life-changing and will serve as a stepping stone for a person to do better and do more.
Bella Capri continues to sing, and it’s surprising to know that she can also play the piano quite well.
